Bret Hart’s website announced that the 3 DVD Hart retrospective being released by World Wrestling Entertainment this November is now titled, "The Bret Hart Story: The Best There Is, Was, and Ever Will Be", replacing the previously announced "Screwed" title.

Bret Hart filmed a seven hour interview that will be interspersed into the DVD set at WWE Headquarters. His website described the experience as, "nothing but positive and this project will be the happy ending that all of Bret's fans have waited eight long years for."

I like the name better now. Even though screwed was better fitting for his end in WWE....

Im hoping they have his WCW stuff in their also and end it with the kick. Because if this is suppose to span across his career I want all of it damn it.

TBH, the only two WCW matches they need on there are the 2 versus Benoit (Mayhem Title Tourney Final and Owen Hart Memorial).

I like the new name though.

yea, I was compiling a list yesterday of all the matches they should have on there.

They need to have the Bret/Dynamite ladder match from Stampede definately. And he had a pretty nice feud with Bad News Allan and they had a ladder match too. And probably his tag title win with Bruce.

As for WCW, he also had a great match(es) with Flair, DDP and Sting, so they got some good stuff there as well.

Seriously, as much as I dislike Bret as a person, this DVD should be phenomenal. It sounds like it's definitely going to do a good job covering one of the greatest in-ring careers ever.

Bret's involvement seems to have bumped this DVD up from a '...what the heck are they going to do to him?' to a 'way cool, must own ASAP' collection. Nice.

Seems like the WWE is fucking with anyone who won't join in on the DVD creation process.

Ultimate Warrior didn't cash in, so it's now "The Self-Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior" with WWE imitations of the Warrior and such. It's a murder. Had Bret not cashed in, it would've been "Bret Hart: Screwed," but now it's "Bret Hart: The Best There Is, Was, And Ever Will Be." Interesting form of blackmail.

Granted, but if I were Vince I wouldn't want that crazy roid freack anywhere near a WWE produced product, even if he wanted to to.

He'd probably want to do a 30 minute promo at the start of the DVD talking to his little warriors whilst looking at his hands, using words that no one's heard of to sound smart and of course quoting himself over and over again and acusing all of Oxford uni of being homosexuals

Apart from that it would be a great business decision

I cannot wait for this DVDs UK release. I'm hoping to see classic encounters such as vs Davey Boy at SS92, vs Owen at WMX and SS94, Canadian Stampede 10 man tag and others. Having never seen his Stampede or Japan work; that would be interesting for me as well.

Anyone know when the UK release date is likely to be?

If WWE puts a free cheeseburger with this DVD then it would get more sales than a Chinese phone book.

But they wont. You'll have to buy your own :D

I'm not too familiar with Bret Hart's work, so I'll be getting this. I'm really happy it'll have stufff from WCW and Stampede, too.

I hope it has is lesser known PPV match vs the British Bulldog at In Your House December 1995. It was a bloody, more viscious sequel to their CLASSIC SS 92 Match.
