Here is my plan for the WWE main event picture from Summerslam to Wrestlemania 22(this assumes that some wrestlers not currently signed...well just lesnar actually is a part of WWE):
Summerslam:
Batista practically destroys JBL
Randy Orton pins Undertaker
Cena goes over Jericho w/ a Dusty DQ Finish
Kane mysteriously stays off WWE TV until October
Coming into September Raw has a brand specific PPV. Cena and Jericho have a re-match w/ a gimmick stipulation(preferably a cage) and Cena wins.
Meanwhile on Smackdown, Batista has a few title matches and defeats Christian, OJ, and Eddie Guerrero.
Going into No Mercy Theodore Long holds an 8 man tournament on Smackdown that culminates in a Rey Mysterio v Chris Beniot finale. Beniot wins and is slated to face Batista at the PPV. At No Mercy Batista and Beniot have a grueling match but Batista comes out on top. While celebrating the lights go out, Kane's music hits and he attacks batista and lays him out.
On SD! Teddy Long creates some weird explanation for how Kane can come to Smackdown. :shifty:
Meanwhile on Raw HHH returns and sets his sights on John Cena.
Survivor Series:
WWE Title Match: HHH v John Cena- HHH regains the title from Cena rightfully ending his reign
World Heavyweight Title match: Batista v Kane- In a scene taken from the 1991 Survivor Series, Kane defeats Batista after a tombstone piledriver onto a chair.
Leading up to the Rumble, HHH will defend his title against Edge who uses his Money in the Bank shot at the Rumble. On Smackdown there will be the obvious Kane Batista rematch. teddy long also announces that he has a suprise entrant as #30.
Royal Rumble:
HHH defeats Edge in their WWE Chmpionship match
Batista is on his way to beating Kane when brock Lesnar interferes and costs Batista the match.
Lesnar is revealed to be the 30 entrant to the Rumble.
Fast Forward to the end of the Rumble match. the last two men in the Rumble are a returning lesnar and a returning RVD. Batista appears and costs Lesnar the Rumble. So your winner of the 2006 Royal Rumble is....RVD.
So RVD will challenge HHH at the Rumble and Lesnar will face Batista.
In order to find Kane an challenger Teddy Long holds a 1 night tourney at No Way Out which Randy Orton wins.
So here is my projected card at Wrestlemania 22:
World Heavyweight Championship match: Kane v Randy Orton
WWE Title match: HHH V RVD
Batista v Brock Lesnar
I also have some other matches planned without details including:
Kurt Angle v Chris Beniot(Interpromotional)
Shawn Michaels v Undertaker(Interpromotional)
Edge v Shelton Benjamin v Carlito v Paul London v Eddie Guerrero v Rey Mysterio (Interpromotional Money In The Bank Match)
Christian v Chris Jericho(Interpromotional 2 out of 3 falls match)

The main matches are good but too many interpromotional matches

Alright, give it a whirl.
Rey Mysterio beats Eddie Guerrero, regaining custody. After the match, Teddy Long gives Eddie some time off, saying he's "too mentally unstable to compete."
Batista Batista Bombs JBL through his limo and gains the victory.
The next RAW, Vince announces that Brock Lesnar had signed back with the company,
and Long and Biscoff would each have a chance to convince him to come to their show. The next week, Lesnar signs with Smackdown, due to Batista's remarks about challenging him for the title. But on Smackdown, as usual, JBL states that for some reason or another, he remains the #1 contender for the title. After getting in each others faces, Long comes out and announces that at Unforgiven, it would be JBL, Lesnar, Benoit, and a mystery opponent in a fatal fourway for contendership.
At Unforgiven, Batista faces off against Orton in a long awaited rematch and pins him. The mystery opponent reveals himself to be Eddie Guerrero; still overcome with anger and brutality, but with more focused than we have seen as of late. Benoit picks up the submission on JBL with the crossface.
At survivor series, Lesnar and JBL settle their score, with JBL losing(obviously.)
Christian wins the Intercontinental title in a triple threat match with orlando and guerrero. In the main event, Batista and Benoit put on a show, then as Batista's about to hit the Batista Bomb, JBL comes out and hits him with the clothesline from hell. Lesnar runs in and F-5's JBL. Guerrero comes in and hits the frogsplash on Benoit. Orton then runs out and hits a big RKO on Guerrero. Throughout the chaos, Batista rolls over on Benoit and gets the pin.
On Smackdown the next night, Long comes out in a fury and says that if they all want the title so bad, they can have it, and books an Elimination Chamber match at Armageddon.
Thats about as far as i've thought it through, but it would culminate at wrestlemania with Batista and Lesnar for the title. The six man story line would give the WWE a chance to make more angles, because all six would have grudges with one another.
I didn't put Christian in because he's the only guy at the moment other than Booker T that would make the belt seem important........and we find out that the Undertaker is actually the father of Mysterio's child and they fight over that for four months, ending with the boy being buried alive, then rising from the dead as one of the Undertakers minions the next Smackdown. THATS what we can do with Jindrak.

You gave up about 1/4 of the way into this post.

why Kane?
I'm just curious why you would give Kane such a high position in the card, and why would he move to SD!
Furthermore, why would RVD be anywhere near the world title scene?
- personally, RVD in the WWE just plain sucks. He can sell well, and thats pretty much all he does during his matches...coupled with a:
corkscrew leg drop off the apron early in the match
and early 5 star frog splash that misses
gets beaten down
hulks up
does the rolling thunder
does a split legged moonsault
gets pinned.
If RVD is to ever get into the world title scene, he needs to do a lot more than that IMO

I like some of the ideas here. Kane on SmackDown! is something I've been hoping to see for a long time. Have him "released" from RAW due to his misconduct with Lita.
Anyway, here is my booking of the major matches at Summserslam. I'll lay down this before I talk about the main event feuds heading into WrestleMania 22.
Summerslam- In Order of Occurence
-Doug Basham beats Orlando Jordan cleanly to win the WWE United States Championship.
-Eugene breaks out of his character mid-match with Kurt Angle, surprising the Olympic Gold Medalist, allowing "Eugene" to sneak out a win. The feud continues past this match.
-Edge defeats Matt Hardy with help from Chris Masters, Gene Snitsky, Lita, Tyson Tomko & Christian. Edge & Christian taunt Matt after the match from the stage, singing along to Edge's theme music highlighting Hardy's loss.
Hardy begins to battle back against Snitsky, Tomko and Masters who are continuing the assault on Matt, when The Big Show comes out and helps Hardy finish off Tomko and Snitsky. Masters comes in from behind on Show with the Masterlock, but Show breaks it effortlessly and Chokeslams Masters to Hell. Hardy then goes ape shit with a steel chair, hitting Tomko, Snitsky and Masters. Big Show applaudes Hardy's work, and Show turns to pose to the crowd, which proves to be a mistake as Hardy goes to town on Show with the steel chair.
Hardy goes marches to the back with a purpose, taking out all the medics and road agents he comes across on the way. He is even tackled by one to make it look real, but Hardy gets to his feet and beats the shit out of him, too. Hardy then locks his eyes on Johnny Ace. Ace backs away in fear, but Hardy corners him on the stage and beats the living Hell out of him with a second chair he has with him.
Hardy finally moves onto the RAW announce team, beating the shit out of them and then he finally puts on the headset and cuts a shoot promo on "Jay" who ruined his life by siding with Edge, and he's going to get his ass-kicked accordingly. Eric Bischoff is now out "firing" Matt, telling him to fuck off. Hardy tells him to go suck some other woman's pussy. Hardy tears through the security Bischoff brought with him, and then nails Bischoff with the steel chair before he leaves Summerslam a loser, with a lot of that being due to Christian.
The RAW commentating duties of the night are given to Tazz and Michael Cole.
-Eddie Guerrero defeats Rey Mysterio cleanly, and then cuts a promo on Rey talking about how this all went according to plan. Rey has put everything on the line against Eddie here tonight, and he's walking out with nothing. He no longer has his family, he no longer has his professional superiority over Eddie. All he has is his mask, which should serve him well seeing as he can pin this loss on "Rey Mysterio" and not on Oscar Guttierrez, but make no mistake about it, Oscar is even more of a loser than Rey here tonight. Eddie leaves smiling to himself, while Rey slowly recovers and gets to his feet taking the long walk of shame. Michael Cole and Tazz talk about how there is no shame in losing to Eddie Guerrero the performer, and that all they are qualified to talk about in Mysterio's life is his professional ability, and they both agree that Rey has plenty of professional ability, and he has a great future in this business.
-Hulk Hogan beats Shawn Michaels with help from John Cena, who is pissed off at HBK. On the RAW prior to SS, Vince McMahon announces that in the interest of fairness, John Cena is allowed to choose a tag team partner to take on Jericho & Carlito. Cena chooses HBK, because even though he doesn't like how HBK has been turning his back on people, he's the best in the business next to Cena, and John would love to team with him again. HBK is seemingly shocked by this offer from Cena, but agrees. Cena says there is one condition, and John asks HBK to promise him that he won't betray him in the ring tonight. Shawn goes to make that promise, but Cena interrupts and gives him a warning: "You are aware that if you break this promise, I will kick your ass?". HBK agrees, and the tag match is signed.
HBK costs Hogan the win against Angle, and HBK walks out on Cena in the main event, allowing Jericho & Carlito to pick up the win. HBK then gets a microphone and says he didn't betray Cena in the ring, he betrayed him from outside it.
Anyway, Cena runs in when the ref is down (you know there will be at least two matches with a ref bump) and hits Michaels with the F-U, allowing Hogan to hit the Leg Drop, picking up his second PPV victory this year.
-Randy Orton defeats The Undertaker cleanly with the RKO.
-Chris Jericho defeats John Cena when HBK runs in helping Y2J win the match. Hulk Hogan doesn't return the favour to Cena, which sends a depper message, saying that we are in a new era, the new guys can't rely on the hereos of yesterday to be there to help them out.
-Batista squashes JBL by kicking his and Orlando Jordan's asses. JBL bleeds like Hell for Batista, and puts The Animal over as something vicious in his hometown.

On RAW, Jericho defends the WWE Title against Hogan successfully, and it is announced his opponent at Unforgiven will be the winner of an internet poll. On that poll are names like Kurt Angle, Nick Dinsmore, Shelton Benjamin, Edge, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin, Rob Conway and Carlito. John Cena and Shawn Michaels are signed immediately for a match, where Cena goes over.
Kurt Angle "wins" the fan vote, and the feud between the two is based off the fact Jericho considers himself a multimedia superstar, yet Angle considers himself a full-time wrestler. Angle plays the face in this feud, while also keeping tabs on Nick Dinsmore. Dinsmore is signed to a match with Matt Striker, and Dinsmore goes over Striker at Unforgiven. Dinsmore ends up ensuring Jericho retains the title, allowing the feud between the two to continue.
On SmackDown!, Chris Benoit adopts Paul Heyman as his new manager, allowing him to turn heel, and effectivly begin a winning streak which leads to him challenging Booker T at No Mercy. Batista faces Randy Orton at No Mercy, where he retains the title.
SmackDown! also continues the Eddie/Rey feud, with Rey coming out and cutting a promo talking about how he lost at Summerslam, and does have nothing, just like Eddie said, but he is not going to let the record sit like that. Rey challenges Eddie to a Hell in a Cell Match to settle their feud, and to prove that Rey still has his pride, and that Eddie Guerrero will need to prove he's a man to just agree to the match. Eddie does agree to the match, as does Theodore R. Long, and the fourteenth (I think) Hell in a Cell is advertised as being "Halloween Havoc", and it will take place at the No Mercy PPV.
Matt Hardy debuts on SD!, agreeing to conform if he gets a match with Christian at No Mercy, where Hardy will show no mercy to Jay Reso. The two have some great promos and build-up the match accordingly. Matt Hardy gets the win over Christian with help from the returning Brock Lesnar.
I'm getting a headache right now, so I'm going to take a break. I've only covered two months. Shit. Oh well, there's still plenty of time.

Alienoid, did you have to split that because you broke the 15 000 characters limit?
Either way, I'm surprised that one can type all of this without falling asleep on his keyboard. Congrats :y:

Aussie_Skier: I picked Kane to be in the main event for 2 reasons. First off I believe he is one of the WWE's most consistent performer and is definately the most versatile "big man" in the company as of this writing and he deserves the chance. Secondly, since he beats Batista, who has been built up as this year's Goldberg, I thought it would add to Kane's credibility to have a decent title reign instead of being a place-holder champion. If just anyone beat Batista, then it would erase his previous year of build-up.
As far as how he ended up on SD!, who cares? WWE marks wouldn't care after the first 2 weeks.
Moving on to RVD, I am putting him in the main event under assumption that WWE will continue to give us the ECW-RVD, that was re-introduced at ONS.
