I figure I may as well do one of my own. So here goes:
Holy Diver by Dio is the greatest album of all time.
That is all.

I beg to differ, it is a very good album, but Running With Scissors is better.

Either agree with me or get your own thread. Also, Running With Scissors doesn't count since most of that is parody, although Albuquerque (sp?) is fantastic.

Dio is very underated. My Holy Diver tape died of overuse a few years back. Picked up a Greatest Hits CD about 6 months ago as it was dirt cheap. Thought the GF would hate it because the music was all mystical and shit, but she loves his voice. The girls got taste.

That and any radiohead album minus Pablo Honey.
Looks like my list should be retitled to "Albums to slit your wrists to". :(

Last you didn't phone it in, Gooch. Like AAA and the other emo pussies, who'd probably call the latest Alkaline Trio the greatest record ever.

Greatest hits albums do not count. It's a collection, not an original release.

Especially since there's a set guideline to determine if an album is good or not and personal opinion has no place in the music business.
