EMINEM has bowed out of public life completely — after suddenly cancelling a string of UK dates. He is giving up his solo career to concentrate on being a dad to daughter Hailie, eight.
The hip-hop star, 32, yesterday axed his European Anger Management Tour, claiming “exhaustion”.

Eminem — real name Marshal Mathers — was due to appear in Milton Keynes, Edinburgh and Manchester next month.
He was expected to perform to 330,000 people in Britain alone.
Eminem is estimated to be losing £10million in ticket receipts from UK fans and millions more in lost revenue from merchandise and album sales.


LOL, now while I don't like him, i'd be pretty pissed if I had tickets.

He was supposed to headline this year's Slane Castle gig in September. It's usually on in August, but I suppose they delayed it to suit this bastard.

80,000 tickets sold out in about 20 minutes, and now he has cancelled. Those poor little steekos will be weeping into their Burberry baseball caps.

If anyone cares, he checked into Brighton Hospital in Michigan, which is primarly for drug rehab. I know this because my girlfriend lives in the area. SO yep, canceled tour to go into rehab.

The only thing that I hate about Eminem was that at one point he would go out and make really good songs like Mocking Bird, Like Toy Soldiers, and Stan, but then the next minute you have Just Lose It. If he just stuck to the good stuff and didn't do the shitty "I can cross the line and be stupid" stuff, I would like him more. That being said, I only really know the songs he puts on the radio, the one time I heard a whole CD I remembered it being really shitty and bad (as in like bad things to say, like abusive shit, hard to explain I guess), so who knows. Now Mr. Serious Artist and Father Eminem will go spend some time with his daughter or whatever, then come back with a big song, then two weeks later he will release a song about Paris Hilton and R. Kelly.

He does that just so people get out and buy his album. I guess he said it on TV or in a magazine one time. Whether that makes him smart or hypocritical is not for me to decide. But then again, that's what makes Eminem Eminem. And though some of those stupid songs are indeed stupid, some of them kick ass, like "My Name Is", "The Real Slim Shady", and "Without Me".
