To be honest, I think it was solely to give The Mexicools heat. Everyone gets heat in Canada against Christian, even other Canadians, so it makes sense.

I wish it were to turn Christian babyface. Seriously, when he grabbed Psicosis around the throat as if to say "Right, now you bitches are done." I marked out like fuck. I can only hope Christian comes in with a steel chair next week and throws out some con-chair-tos, with Tazz justifying it, and Michael Cole questioning if it is the right thing to do. I swear, as much as I think he's a good commentator, if Michael Cole sides with Christian as soon as he turns face, it would ruin the moment. Gradually have him warm up to Christian as time goes on.

Id say it was to buy Christian a few weeks to recover from this aledged injury and when he returns they could try to turn Christian face and at the same time give the Mexicools some kind of credibility. I dont know when Christian became credible...
