Ok, I got home like 40 min ago.... but let's just forget that.

I was extremely surprised at a lot of the crowd reactions throughout the night. First off, Benoit winning so fast got a friggin loud reaction. Even though the match was over so quickly, it really seemed to be a great start to the show because it got people cheering.

Edge vs Matt was BS. I don't know how it wet over in TV land, but I'd say a good majority of the people there were booing, and not because of the finish, but because it happened in 4 minutes. But atleast we got a "she's a crack whore" chant going. In my opinion, whatever momentum they had with this feud just died a quick death. Although, a lot of people gave Hardy a sanding ovation as he was walking down the aisle.

Rey vs Eddie really got the crowd pumped. There were some good spots and some sick looking bumps. I don't know if it showed on TV but right after Rey gave Eddie the back body dorp from the ladder, he ladder tipped over and Rey fell right on top of it. It looked like a very nasty fall. Aside from the one obvious fuck up I thought it was a pretty good match and probably the best of the night. And also some chick on the floor had a "Eddie owes me child support" sign, which gave me a good chuckle.

My first surprise came with Angle vs Eugene. I am a huge Angle fan, but fully expected him to be booed out of the building. I'm glad to see that wasn't the case though. And I liked how he stood on the chair like it was a pedistal and had the ref place the medal around his neck.

Undertaker vs Orton was great. There was a huge pop when takers music hit, but it quickly died down. I'd say the crowd was pretty 50-50 at the start, but I noticed more cheers for Orton as the match went on. It was one of the better matches I had seen in quite a while, that Taker was a part of.

Jericho vs Cena was another surprise. There were quite a few anti Cena signs in the crowd, so I wasn't expecting the pop he got. The "Let's go Jericho" and "Let's go Cena" chant war was awesome, and probably the loudest of the night. I thought for sure once Jericho pulled Marky mark away from the ropes that it was going to be the end. Oh well, I'm just glad that Jericho's chants weren't completely snuffed out. I'd say the crowd was pretty much 50-50 on the match.

Batista vs JBL was quicker than I was expecting. I managed to grab a falling JBL $100 bill though, so that was cool. The match was predictable though, as soon as JBL hit the clothesline from hell so early in the match, I knew Batista had it won. The "One more time" chant after Batista hit the Batista bomb was pretty deafening too. And the thud when JBL hit the stairs echoed in the arena.

And lastly, Hogan vs HBK. The crowd was definitely pro Hogan, if I had to guess I'd say it was about 75% for Hogan. I think nearly everyone who had been cheering for Shawn, started booing when he extended his hand to Hogan. When the first ref bump happened, a chant of "we want Bret" started. I was skeptical if Bret would show up or not, but when the second ref bump happened there was an ever louder chant, which I decided to take part of this time. It seemed like the perfect time to hear Bret's music hit the speakers. It looked like Hogan had done a really bad blade job. After HBK had the sleeper on him, you could clearly see the blood that had poured onto Shawns arm. Granted, I was pretty close (9 or 10 rows off the floor) I'm sure you could see it way back. It looked pretty bad and I'm curious to see how it looked on tv. I didn't like how heel Shawn suddenly reverted back to face. Heel HBK = gold.

All in all, I don't regret paying what I did for the tickets. They were great seats (right inbetween the ramp and the ring). And plus, there's nothing like doing a PPV live.

And I do want to make a note about the security for the event. All this talk about terroism and such, especially after the attacks in the UK, and they didn't even have a metal detector set up? No pat down? I could of walked into the arena with 50 pounds of C4 strapped to my chest and they would of never known. Not that I think a WWE event would be hit, I just found it amusing.

Also, I decided to wait until after the show to buy my merchandise (which was a mistake since it seems everyone else had that same idea), and the majority of the people were asking for Cena merchandise. Just in the time I was in "line" (if you want to call it that) they had sold out of Cena visors $20, wrist bands $15, those stupid poseable finger things $20, and Chain gang necklaces $20. The whole time I was thinking how much money the WWE was making off of Cena. Again, I just found it amusing.

I'm very curious to see what they do with Matt Hardy now, since they basically just destroyed the feud. I'm also anxious to see where Orton goes from here, he basically got a clean win over the Undertaker. It's not like his dad hit taker or anything, he was merely a distraction.

I'd love to upload some pictures, by my digital camera went on the fritz, so I had to use a regular camera. I went through 4 rolls of film though, if anyone is interested, once I get them developed, I'll scan a few, probably won't be until friday or Saturday though.

I was sitting waaaaay up and could clearly see the blood on Hogan's face. Was quite gruesome.

And the chant war....oh my god. I was apart of the Jericho side and it was great.

Up in my section there was almost a fight during the Hogan/HBK match. Some idiot said something about HHH and this dude who was soooo pro Hogan it wasn't even funny said that HHH destoryed wrestling. Then the other dude, in another section, started up a Red Sox Suck chant...it was great.

Also I must sadly report that, though I tried, none of the off the wall chants you guys suggested got picked up. Not even the "We Want Christian" one. Sad sad sad day.

The Orton/Taker match was the best "wrestling" match of the night, good match.

I also think they're going for a "no holds barred" bout between Hardy/Edge to attempt to keep the feud going. Atleast that's what it seems like after having the ref stop the match.

The hardy/Matt feud aint dead, because Matt Hardy didn't die, the only way this feud will end is of course when Matt actually dies.

Bring on the first death match

Seriously tho, Matt Hardy got F'ed up. I dont think he wants any of Edge. I'd just leave them alone or something.

Relieved that I didn't stay up until 4am watching that - sounds disappointing. I might catch the replays on box office when I get home from work tonight.

Where was the TitanTron?

I know there was one in the middle of the arch, and the wrestlers videos were on it but during the matches the screen was part of the SummerSlam logo.

There wasn't a "titantron" persay. There was the projected screen in the middle arch, or the 4 screens hanging from the top of the MCI center. The backstage interview segments were all displayed on the arch as well.

Edge needs to keep beating down Matt and Matt needs to keep coming, driving Edge crazy

I know the perfect way for Hardy to get the upper hand on Edge: Distract him with a cheeseburger!

I think that they should have had a different ending. And I think WWE realized how bad OJ was as champion so they just made him job like that.

I missed seeing OJ job. Went to go get a T-shirt for my baby sister and...then I'm hearing new US champ.
