i feel that we may be faced with the worst case scenario with the HBK / Hogan fued: Hogan victorious, HBK "class act" grace in losing, followed by HBK reverting to babyface on RAW the next day.

lets discuss some of the best case and (infinitely more likely) worst case scenarios as it pertains to others wrestlers, fueds, and Summerslam backlash. i'll start-

1: Undertaker after losing to Orton - worst case scenario: Undertaker shows up on Smackdown to adress his fans, kiss Orton's ass, and announce his retirement {like after he lost to Lesnar}, and at that point, he is interupted {like after he lost to Lesnar}. Only this time he is not interrupted by the Big Show, but by, oh, let's say.....the Mexicools. Tazz and Cole bitch about the Mexicools interrupting a legend in the middle of his retirement announcement. the next week, Undertaker is fueding with the Mexicools, and all talk of retirement is forgotten. and from there, more of the same : Taker is perpetually getting robbed of #1 contendership right before a ppv and then is thrown into pointless fueds for years to come.

best case scenario: Undertaker takes some (more) time off. and he actually hits the gym, bulks up, gets strong enough that he can actually lift someone, and builds up enough endurance to actually be able to lift his own body into the ring without becoming exhausted. then: he shows up on RAW. with a new gimmick.

let me explain something. i was shitting on Deadman 2004 gimmick from the very start. i knew it would never work (for me anyway) because it was something that had already been done. just like in the movies, most sequels are pretty hollow. clearly the Bikertaker was in need of re-packaging, because they ruined a good thing (Red Devil / Booger Red) with a face turn. if it were up to me, i would have made the character something that can be best described as a fusion of Ministry Taker and Booger Red. a demonic biker, so to speak. this would enable the character to regain some of the mystique and evil grace that was lacking in the biker persona while maintaining the flexability of a less one-dimensional character.

so anyway, he shows up on RAW on one of his choppers as heelministrybikertaker and becomes a top heel. and doesnt turn around and do some lame-ass face turn after three months. Also, Kane, having already jobbed to everyone on RAW,is traded to Smackdown! as a heel, where he sets Vince McMahon on fire.
