SOOO..... in what will be my first Independent wrestling show in the histoy of my life, I am headed to Mississauga, ON, Canada for a UWA Hardcore Wrestling event.

Not too sure what to expect. I have only been to one live wrestling event in my lifetime, and it was a memorable experience for myself. The event ended up being the last time my childhood hero, Bret the Hitman Hart wrestled in Toronto, at the Skydome for the World Wrestling Federation. The reason it was his last show should be obvious, insert: "You Screwed Bret" chants here.

I have read some good stuff about Kevin Steen, who holds the nickname of "Mr. Wrestling". I'm hyped to see Jimmy Jacobs who I have seen in a few ROH DVD shows. I remember watching a match between M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition and it was a crazy spot fest. Not sure if it was Josh or M-Dogg but one of them scaled up a rather tall metal piller and dropped a long way down onto a table with a body splash.

Here is the card for the show.

Main Event

UWA Canadian Title
M-Dogg 20 vs. The Amazing Darkstone

UWA Light Weight Title
Lionel Knight vs. Alex Shelley (ROH)

Nick Watts vs. Jimmy Jacobs (ROH)

Ricky Reyes (ROH) vs. Puma (ROH)

Sexxxy Eddy vs. El Generico vs. Kevin Steen vs. Beef Wellington

Chris Bishop vs. Mickey Knight

Osiris vs. Devon Parkside

Asylum vs. Jeff Flury

Rip Impact vs. Matt Bison

*BTW, this is Alex Shelley's last chance to prove to myself that he not overrated, and deserves all the praise he recieves.

Well, all I can say is, don't get too excited about it.

There is no way to prove that he is not overrated, because he is.
