Ok, remember when The Million Dollar Man first came into the WWF and he tried to buy the WWF Title from Hulk Hogan, but Hogan turned him down?? And of course this led to the infamous twin ref. angle and the whole Wrestlemania IV title tourney.
Well I got to thinking the other day...how awesome would it have been if Hogan accepted DiBiase's offer to buy the WWF Title and thus turning him heel? He could then basically pull his initial NWO heel promo about how he was in it for the money and DiBiase's offer exceeded any kind of money he could've gotten as champion.
And this would lead to Randy Savage coming out and confronting both Hogan and DiBiase over how the title should mean more to them than any amount of money. And this leads to DiBiase and Hogan beating down Savage. And then in the weeks after that Savage enlists the help of Bam Bam Bigelow, who was MEGA hot at the time as Hogan's buddy. This leads to a match between Bigelow and DiBiase for the WWF Title at SNME where Bigelow wins by DQ after interference by Hogan and then Savage comes out to help Bigelow. Then the match for Wrestlemania IV is announced with Bigelow/Savage vs. Hogan/DiBiase with the obvious build to a Hogan/Savage match. Well Savage and Bigelow win at WM IV after Savage pins DiBiase.
After Wrestlemania DiBiase and Bigelow have another title match on SNME (WWF prevents Bigelow from jumping to the NWA which what happened after Wrestlemania IV), but this time in a steel cage. Despite attempts to interfer by Hogan, Bigelow somehow wins the WWF Title. This doesn't last long as Hogan defeats Bigelow at Summerslam to regain the WWF Title.
Now this will begin the build for Hogan/Savage at Wrestlemania V where Savage goes over. Savage will keep the title until the Royal Rumble the next where he drops it back to Hogan. Which then will build to the Hogan/Warrior match at Wrestlemania VI where everything would stay the same about the match and when Hogan hands the title and hugs Warrior at the end of the match, it will turn him face for "one last run" as a babyface.
