If you haven't ever seen the Ted Petty Invitational before, go find a copy, it's held in a small gym infront of about 400 fans, but it's one of the best nights of pure wrestling your likely to see, plus this year there's 2 brits in there

Taken from IWA:MS Board

Here are the first round matches for the 2005 TPI:

1.Chris Sabin vs James Gibson

2.AJ Styles vs Tyler Black

3.Arik Cannon vs Delirious

4.Super Dragon vs Josh Abercrombie

5.Matt Sydal vs El Generico

6."The Notorious 187" Homicide vs Rainman

7.Brandon Thomaselli vs Jommy Storm

8.Mike Quackenbush vs Alex Shelley

9.Kevin Steen vs Nate Webb

10.Chris Hero vs "The Wildcat" Chris Harris

11."Double C" Claudio Castagnoli vs American Dragon

12.Robbie Brookside vs Marek Brave

Jommy Storm ay? And Robbie Brookside, I haven't actually seen him wrestle, have you Dave? I've only heard snippets about him like competing in the Super J cup.

Robbie is a UK legend in my eyes

I've seen the guy work at least 20 times, he's been in the biz 20 plus years.

The guy can work as well, he's a great worker, but he's in his 40's now I think, he can still go, should be interesting.

Side note: If you went to see the first live Raw tapings in Manchester's MEN arena you would have seen him work a dark match against Maven

Also, he got his first break on world of sport tagging with Regal on many occasions

Yeah I think World of sport might have been the only time I might have possibly seen a match of his but I can't quite remember.

I saw Robbie work at the MEN Raw last year (he jobbed clean to Maven) but I first saw him at FWA Revival. Very decent worker and a Scouser like yours truly.

Shame he couldn't think of a better stage-name though

Maybe they named it after him.

Oh, which reminds me (and worries me that I never mentioned this before) that Jennfier Ellison girl who was in Brookside went to my college, as did that Philip Olivier guy.

What a beauty!

We had a 10 minute conversation at a party once. We were friends through other friends and it was of those awkard moments when everyone except me and her left the room.

I couldn't help but think he was really hot, but her head was too spherical
