Who do you think will be playing in the Rose Bowl in January for the National Title?

My guess: 1 USC v 2 Texas

I just don't like Texas doing it. In our paper our prediction has Texas winning the Big 12 with its only loss coming against A&M in the finals, but realistically they could easily lose to Ohio State, Oklahoma, and A&M if not even an upset at Tech or something.

My problem with Texas is that they are all based on what Vince Young is supposed to be. They are supposed to be the shit, riding on his shoulders, but how can he possibly live up to those expectations.

I was going to make this topic earlier, because quite frankly I don't see how Texas can lose its two best players and be better then last year. They will still be fine in RB's, but no Cedric Benson. They don't have any great or established wide recievers, so its pretty much all on Vince and the O-Line, which is supposed to be great.

Then on defense, which is where I assume all the power is coming from, they lost their best player. They still bring back a lot of starters from last year, but they still lost their best one. So I just don't understand why they are better after losing their best two players, and two impact players at that, its not like they were just linemen. Derrick was the best LB in the country and Cedric was one of the nations top RB's.

In my opinion, USC has to get there and will barring an injury to Lienart or Bush. Who they will be playing could be anyone though, anyone from Texas to Oklahoma to Ohio State to Michigan to Florida to Miami to Tech or even Louisville. There really aren't two specific dominant teams from the start this year, so it should be interesting. Just to not be a douche though, I will predict USC-Michigan in the Rose Bowl, even though the chances are pretty slim.
