While The Cave had hillariously bad dialogue and acting that opened itself up to snarky banter between tow or more sarcastic movie viewers, A Sound of Thunder had nothing, it was bland, cheap looking and really just downright awful in any and every way possible.
The original production company as it turns out went bankrupt during the post-production of this film so not only did the release get pushed back from 2003 to now but it looks like whoever took over didn't really bother to try and finish the movie because a lot of the effect look completely unfinished and cheap.
A Sound of Thunder also incidently contains some of the worst green screening I have ever seen, it completely brings the viewer out of the movie, as if the bad directing, writing, acting didn't cause that to happen enough already.
All in all easily the worst film to be released this year. Yes worse than Alone in the Dark.
