I saw both bands live last night and the both of them were un-fucking-believable!!! I would definitely go and see either one of them again.

I was in the mosh pit for both bands which made it all the more fun for me to enjoy them. I recognised numerous songs from both of the bands and considered crowd surfing on seperate occasions, but I wasn't in a good enough position to do so really. :(

I went with a couple of friends, so I wasn't up the front with them, but just myself. Still, it's all good because I wasn't expecting them to go out of their way to come up with me. I was a bit distraught for a friend, cos she didn't get to see MxPx live when she wanted to, but there will always be a next time, plus I owe her two bucks.... maybe she will remind me about that tomorrow.

Was it as good as the Anberlin show? I would have to say so, because I was not only up and in there, but I was a lot closer to the stage than I initially thought I would be.

It was only in a small venue, but still, I love small venues like that, because you know you get to listen to every song without missing on too much. I didn't recognise some MxPx songs, and that's because I have only heard their new shit lately, I also had a fair bit to drink last night so that just made it even more excellent.

EDIT: I remembered some songs, go me.

Motion City Soundtrack

- My Favorite Accident
- Red Dress
- Capital H
- Future Freaks Me Out
- Perfect Teeth
- Better Open The Door
- Make Out Kids
- Let's Get Fucked Upm And Die
- Time Turned Fragile
- Feel Like Rain
- Everything Is Alright

From the top of my head. I am probably off my a few, but considering I had been drinking all night, it's very fucking close to what they played. Not the order of course, considering I have old songs, then new songs there.

MxPx

- Young And Depressed
- The Darkest Places
- Heard That Sound
- Responsibility
- The Next Big Thing
- Well Adjusted
- Chick Magnet

(If I can find the proper tracklisting to both bands, I most will certainly post them! Both bands played for about 50 minutes each and MxPx did a cover of an old song, which I cannot exactly remember at this point of time, but I'll try to. They played a shit load more, I just can't remember them at the moment.)

Smaller venues are better.
I'm going to see Motion City at the end of the month because Circa Survive are supporting.
