View Full Version : Biggest Jobber Feud/ Most One-Sided Beef in Rap History

Concerned more about the quality of the rapper and not taking popularity into consideration, I'd have to say that the title of "Biggest Jobber Feud" would belong to the 50 Cent vs. Fat Joe beef. They both do nothing more than make party rap, and then they start dissing each other, and the best they can do is make some bullshit disses, usually not more than 2 regular-length verses per song. "Piggy Bank", and "My 44 (Fuck 50)" contain more shit talking than actual rapping. God, if it wasn't for those beats on those songs, I wouldn't have listened to them more than once.
As far as "Most One-Sided" beef is concerned, I'd have to go with Eminem/Benzino. Benzino made the forgettable "Crush, Kill, Destroy", whereas Eminem murdered Benzino with 64-72 bars of pure devastation on "Nail in the Coffin". After that song, it was over.
Your thoughts?

I think that one of the best battles was cannabis vs. LL Cool J and I think that cannabis took the battle, but was buried by LL Cool J and his time in the business. Kind of like a Hogan or Triple H refusing to job to a better opponent.

Yeah. Canibus is my favorite rapper, but I think "The Ripper Strikes Back" was better than "2nd Round KO". And I don't even like LL. But that song was pure fire. 100 bars of lyrical slaughter (over 3 verses). Esoteric, check out "Rip the Jacker" if you haven't already. Greatest rap album of all time. And he has a new CD coming out called "Hip Hop 4 Sale" on November 22.

I think he got honorably discharged about a year ago or so. One way or another, he's out of the army now and has been working on raps ever since.
He has released a new album called "Mind Control" since coming back, which is full of music that he recorded in 2001. It was supposed to be his 3rd album, but it got scrapped, and finally just got released (don't buy it, it's the equivalent of "Can-I-Bus", well not even that. It's probably his 5th best album out of the 6 that have been released). He and Rakim just did a song together called "Gun Ho City". And of course, he has that new album coming out that I talked about.

For some reason, I think I remember the KRS-One/Nelly feud to be short and brutal... For Nelly. He dropped one line about "KRS wanting One more Hit," and KRS shot back by pretty much ripping Nelly a new asshole starting off like "Your whole style sounds like an N Sync commercial."

Oh shit, I totally forget about that. I remember that I was going to post that one, but I forgot and put Em/Zino instead. Yeah, that KRS-One song is hella good. It's called "Ova Here". Yup, Nelly got raped.

Didn't Eminem hate XXL? why does he like them now?

He mentions "I got XXL's number anyway" in that Benzino diss. Probably because Benzino runs The Source Magazine, and XXL is their main competitor, so Em supports them, I guess. Don't know the whole story though..

DJ Quik/MC EIHT was easily the greatest fued on wax of all time...
Maybe Dre/Eazy otherwise.
I will never understand how people can take KRS-1 seriously.
U Aint Shit by Daz is hands down the greatest Diss track of all time.
And yes, I am a West Coast homer of the grandest kind.
