Well, Conway's finally getting SOME reaction. I can't tell you how much it pains me to hear someone come out to a dead crowd.

I don't think that was a reaction. More liked a piped in reaction. Cause Heat is...you know taped.

Wow, Heat reminds me of the old Wrestling Challenge shows on Sundays cause it's like known superstars vs jobbers.

Any known sightings of Mike Sharpe, S.D. Jones, or Jack Foley yet? :shifty:

imagine if wrestling was still like that..once a week and it would be one good match, and the rest would be against jobbers.

Viscera vs. Tomko would get us excited.

lol absolutely.

Used to be one hour show Sat, one hour show Sunday, then a special on NBC like once a month I think and a PPV about every 3-4 months.

Sometimes I wish it was still like that :(

And which one of those would be considered the 'Superstar'?

no, he's saying if they did it like old days. In the old days, they would have a bunch of "superstar" vs "jobber' matches and then a match with two superstars at the end of the show. And he's saying we would be drooling over that because it would seem like a great match compared to the other matches.

Wow, heaps of matches on Heat this week. Venis doing anything makes me happy.

I think they should try and make Heat and Velocity you know...decent shows? Occasionally give us an edition of Velocity that is has 25 minutes of Paul London vs. Brian Kendrick goodness, with the rest of the time being dedicated to a squash match of a superstar that needs it, and a solid little match between two guys. Something like Funaki vs. Simon Dean.

Heat this week was good, but I wonder how great it could have been if Kerwin White & Tajiri were allowed to go for longer. Striker and Dupree could have ben given more time as well. Put Striker over too, because you know, Dupree isn't going to be a singles wrestler anymore. Eugene vs. Parisi was fun, but Swinger deserves better. Give him some solid time to go with Nick Dinsmore and I guarantee it would have been solid.

There's only so much they can do with an hour, but I think they should try and change Heat and Velocity's format regularly to giveus 20 minute classics some days, and a series of squash matches other days (like Heat was this week).
