Now that TNA has a deal with Spike especially that Monday night timeslot, do you think this will force WWE to atleast put up some decent programming?
I know TNA still has a long way and isn't really in WWE's league at the moment, but still

If I was the WWE, I'd be more worried about the UFC live fight night scheduled on Spike which runs head to head against RAW

I still don't see TNA makin WWE change anything at all

I say WWE should watch there back a little bit more cause TNA could dominate them now that it's probably gonna be on Spike.
But this could be cool, it could be the WWE.vs.TNA war instead of WWE.vs.WCW:yes:

TNA isn't in the position to challenge seriously yet. But there will be a difference in the quality of the WWE product over the next few weeks in the anticipation of TNA's arrival. This is a good thing for the industry. I'm excited.

UFC will air live fights on Saturdays, along with TNA, NOT Mondays. The replays of TNA will air Monday Nights after Raw. I'm not sure if they're planning the replay of UFC to go head to head with Raw.

yeah thats what I meant. Im sure alot of people wont be saticking around for the actual live TNA show on Sat. night, but Im sure alot of ppl will catch the replays on Mondays

Give TNA 2 years and come back to me, to be honest who honestly thought they'd get this far? I know I didn't fair play to them, but they aint competition just yet

Its true. At the start of the year we all thought they'd be out of business by now. Fair play, they've got a national television deal. But as ECW found out, that doesn't alwasy guarantee succes

I remember when everyone said TNA would die, then they got on FSN. When the FSN deal ran out, everyone went back to saying TNA was gonna die again. Now they're on Spike
i've been a tna fan since day 1 and i have said a million times if they get a national deal they would eventually be competition and yes right now the show is gonna be taped BUT the contract with spike did say if the ratings improve they wanna move them to a live week night timeslot and then guys i'd say we've got ourselfs some good shit coming from the wwe because all of us that have watched tna no they have some guys that can do amazing shit in that ring and people will watch it for that and thats gonna get ratings going up and just from word of mouth and the spike ad's it's gonna get peoples interest and they will give it a chance

This excited me so much... it reminds me a lot of when NWA was transformed into WCW... they did have a big tv deal, but they weren't really a threat to the WWF. The way I see it is like this... Rosey and Hurricane or Americas Most Wanted... Batista v.s JBL or AJ Styles v.s Samoa Joe ... Now TNA doesn't beat WWE on every level but it does on some, and WWE beat TNA on some levels too. I personally don't think TNA needs big names like Goldberg, Nash, Sting etc... which they are trying to pull in. I think that for the first couple of months if they just put on some kick ass matches with dramatic storylines... Matches with, Aj Styles, Samoa Joe, Raven, Chris Daniels, Rhyno, Sabu, Abyss, Hoyt, Sabin, Shelly, Dutt, Jarrett, Monty Brown etc...
TNA can compete with WWE... im telling you if the Saturday night and the late night Monday timeslot works for TNA, within a few year they could compete with WWE on Monday or Friday. If it's Batista v.s JBL and Samoa Joe v.s Aj Styles... what are you gonna watch?

It's amazing though. No one expected WCW to do as well as it did when Nitro went head to head against Raw. You think it's just us smarks who are tired of an inferior product? The marks dislike a lot of it too.

Being on FSN or a probationary contract with Spike doesn't mean they're not dying though.

It doesn't matter how bad or whatever TNA is, the fact of the matter is, no one likes having their monopoly threatened. Just having TNA strike a deal with SpikeTV and the network placing ads during Raw is pissing off Vince as reported. Also, I believe it's already getting to him, hence the news about Vince purposesly putting that Hardy/Edge matchup to kinda shoot down TNA and make it look really inferior. No matter what, just with the ads running, the WWE product IMO as of last week is already picking up some sort of ground (except for the shitty main event). For the last few years, Vinny Mac didn't have to scratch his ass...but now he has to slowly make the effort to move his finger now.
IMO, people have been a little too negative on TNA for a number of years now by claiming they're going out of business. I've said it a million times, yes they do some shitty business at times-Jarrett sucks-and their booking decisions can seem downright awful at times, but I don't really dismiss them and state "oh well, TNA is done for now."
The only thing TNA needs now is more $$$$, which I can't understand why they can't because from what I've read Panda is a company that's in the billions (no, I don't wanna hear the WWE conspiracy), touring outside of Orlando for fucks sake, and grabbing some key quality wrestlers from WWE and not shitty left overs.

Also, nobody likes having their monopoly threatened. That's why when someone isn't a threat, you don't worry.

Don't even try to compare the WCW thing with TNA. First, WCW was well known by masses of people, TNA isn't. WCW had Turner behind it and thus had the network behind it. TNA doesn't really have Spike behind them 100% from what I've read.
TNA is nowhere near the WWE right now. I hope they will be someday and I hope they take some of WWE's audience when they go on. But we're just gonna have to wait and see what they can dish out.

Probably.
It's true though. I won't say they'll NEVER be a threat. Currently, however, the WWE will continue to ignore them, becuase they're not.

What LC said. WCW was a nationally known company with huge names that had a blank check to lose as much money as they wanted without repercussion because Turner didn't care. The WCW didn't make a dime the first five years of its existence, losing an average of $5 million annually.
Shit, Spike is running ads that are basically making fun of pro wrestling. "YOU WANT REA:???!! This is real!!!" That doesn't exactly show that they suppor tthe product. Remember, when ECW struggled out of the gate, this is still the netwrok that did everything possible to bury it while collecting the money for the air-time.
If you listen to Heyman in the Rise & fall DVD, that bad TV deal is what finally killed ECW; that seems like a possibility here.

Could Vince be paying Spike to kill TNA? DUN DUN DA
As soon as people start seeing the high flying, fast paced wrestling of TNA and the outstanding athletic ability of guys like AJ Styles things are going to change in a big, big way. The only problem is that TNA needs people to watch.

It won't help TNA all the way, but a lot of people watched WCW because they had a much better cruiserweight division than the WWF's.

Eventually, people got into it, but it still wasn't that big a draw. If it was, they woulda main evented more cruisers to get the edge over the WWE.

And as soon as they see a main event scene completely dominated by one of the least charismatic, least over main eventers in the history of the business, they are going to change the channel tootsweet.
