Was readin alienoid's thread on DiBiase and there was a mention bout him making a good commentator...
who'd you pick (current or former wrestlers) to do well as commentators?
BAH GAWD.... raw could do with some change i think...

When they have retired from being active competitors, Chris Jericho and JBL will make fine commentators, as will Ken Kennedy (but that's a while off).
Kevin Nash is seriously hilarious, and I think if he were serious about it, he could really become a commentating legend.
He's already had a crack at it, but I've only heard him a few times so I'm putting his name forward again. Al Snow is a pretty funny guy that knows his stuff. I'm not sure if he was good or bad when he did Metal (I think he did Metal), but if he wasn't too good, I think he would get better with time. William Regal would make a nice one too, as would Christian, IMO.

Nash would be awesome... I never thought about Regal doing it but I reckon he'd be real good at it.

On another note, I'm starting to enjoy watching Velocity just for the commentating duo of Josh Matthews and Steve Romero.

I agree 100%.
STEVE ROMERO: The cheque burnt up, take that Orton.
JOSH MATHEWS: Grave voice ...Sometimes I wish your cheque would burn up Steve Romero...not that you've ever heard of one.
Or something like that. Those guys are awesome.

Piper was a good commentator. So was Dusty. The Million Dollar Man did commentate for a while in 93 and 94, and I think he was pretty good. I think The Rock would be great remember the number one contender battle royal on 03 when he left the ring and did commentary? he was hilarous.

Yeah, that was definitely an unnecessarily long space for a :shifty: look.
I think if Triple H didn't have such a boring voice he could be a good one. Carlito would be a hilarious heel commentator as well.
