....could you imagine Kurt Angle on the Indy scene?

I wouldn't mind seeing him go for TNA later on when it gets bigger. But then again, Kurt does seem WWE to the bone to me.

He would never leave, imo. But if they are restricting as they are made out to be the the things Kurt would do would be amazing considering how amazing he is inside the WWE ropes.

I concur.

Shelton Benjamin as well. I would love to see a Benjamin/Angle match in a RoH or, to a lesser extent, TNA ring.

I hadn't even thought about Benjamin, damn that would be good.

No doubt, but what IF?

If you're talking about the restrictions on moves, Kurt should be fine. He's one of their top stars and a great professional. IF you're talking about the roster shrinking, he WILL be fine. If not for his neck and back problems, I'd safely wager that he'd outlast everyone on the roster right now (Except Triple H, because I'm a bastard and like to cheap shot the cocksucker.).

No doubt, but what IF?

I can't see him there. Period. End of discussion for me. I mean, it just doesn't seem KURT.

Yeah, i'll bet Kurt would be weirded out wrestling in front of 150 people.

If Angle were let go by the WWE for ANY reason and he still either wanted to wrestle or stay in the business, I would imagine that he would go to Japan. Someone like Angle won't be on the Indy scene, not for at least 20 years, when he's doing things like Wrestle Reunion...

I don't agree with Shelton Benjamin being here long. I see potential in this guy, but at this rate he's probably going to eventually become an Orlando Jordan/Virgil amalgam who'll wind up in TNA early next year. Seriously, Vince is a cock. He must REALLY have something against Benjamin and Chavo Guerrero. What did Chavo ever due to Vince that was so bad? So the guy was in WCW, don't hold it against him, Jesus.

Frankly, with Kurt's history of health problems, it probably doesn't really beheeve Kurt to deviate too far from what he's doing now. Kurt can still put on GREAT performances without risking serious injury as much as most guys on the indy scene do.

I honestly think that with the way wrestling is now, if Kurt decided to leave the WWE, he'd probably be done with wrestling period. I don't see Kurt being proud to be associated with anything other than the best in the world, and at least from perception's standpoint, that is clearly the WWE. That could just be me, though.

It was a hypothetical.

It would be really intresting to see him in an indy capicity.

It makes my mouth water and the possibilities are endless.

And it would be interesting constricting the wwe really is if we ever see the chance to Kurt Angle unleashed.

It was a hypothetical.

It doesn't hypothetically work. :)

I can only think of three good things that could come of that:

Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe
Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles
Kurt Angle vs. Christopher Daniels

To break it down, you ask if we could imagine Kurt on the Indy scene. We say no. You say it's hypothetical (Which I think all imagination is), we still say no.

Yeah, got it the first time. Wasn't laughing at ya I thought that your joke was funny. If you cant imagine something as simple as this TV really has ruined the imagination of the public.

Personally, if he left WWE, I could see him in NJPW. I think an Angle Vs Mutoh match could be gold, if nothing else so see Angle counter the Shining Wizard into the ankle lock, and maybe see Mutoh reverse the Angle slam into a cross arm breaker...
