You do realize that for an original DX reunion to happen, Rick Rude would have to rise from the dead, right?

I'm for it but only for the later version of DX.
Reason being, we haven't had a great dominant stable for awhile. What makes a dominant stable? Well to me, they have to have the potential to run the show. What I mean is that they have to have the potential to have all the belts at once or be competitive in more than one area.
Example, newer DX had Road Dogg and Billy Gunn competing for the tag titles, X pac did his own stupid crap and HHH went after either of the singles titles. Older DX had Michaels and HHH, which to me wouldnt work because you have both guys going after the same world title. It would seem beneath either guy to have the IC title. Think when HHH and Austin had a stable. Its because of this that I don't think a stable with 2 main eventers can work, so old DX is out.
I'm not crazy about the idea, but if it were done, I hope it'd be fresh and not a rehash. Who am I kidding, it'd be a rehash all the way :nono:

You mean like Evolution last year?

Nah, it can't be done.
I mean, if we can do that, why don't we bring arn Anderson and Malenko out of retirement and pull Mongo McMichaels out of whatever ditch he's probably lying in right now and reform that incarnation of the Horsemen with Benoit?

Evolution didnt have a great tag team
Singles wrestlers thrown together does not a tag team make
Which is why I dont count Hurricane/Rosey, Tajiri/Regal etc basically all current tag team wrestling

You do realize that the New Age Outlaws started because WWF threw together "The Real Double J" Jesse Jammes and Rockabilly, right?

true and what came out of it was more than anyone expected. If you wanna argue that I'm giving too much credit to a team that had 2 mediocre wrestlers and 1 with average mic skills fine, but they were one of the best teams of their time.

I personally don't care, because I'd probably love HBK & Triple H together if they went through with it, but right now I'm happy with them being seperate.
Their feud is one that can be put on PPV, guaranteed to come with a good match, should the WWE get lazy. The WWE has nothing good to do with Shawn Michaels at Taboo Tuesday? Put him in a match with Triple H. Not exactly good booking, but it gets a good match on PPV.
The last few years of their rivalry means nothing if you stick them together. I wouldn't mind seeing them reach an understanding and team together to get the WWE Title away from Cena, though. Two old enemies joining up to dispatch of a newer threat would make for a pretty interesting storyline, IMO.

What's Jason Sensation doing these days?
Jason: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and it's time for a CHANGE!!!"
Passerby: "Change? Here, here's 25 cents."
Jason: "Thank you, kind sir! :)"

I am SO glad someone actually mentioned this. When I first saw this shit, I was like ":wtf: How is that even possible?"

Rude was just an associate really. The benefactor so to speak, who once fleeing the wwe trashed HBK on live tv. He was never a member really.

And more tag teams united just for the purpose of taking down an established tag team. That's still pretty thrown together.
The problem with Evolution is you had Batista and his partner, Grandpa Flair. It felt not only thrown together, but horrible.

That should be Ric's new handle now, Grandpa Flair. I say no to DX, b/c I think it would be nothing but a shell of the good old days. Chyna and the New Age Outlaws added to the experience and to be honest, I don't want to hear a balding Shawn Michaels talk about how he's a rebel and tell me that if I'm not down with his ramblings I can suck it.

Yeah, I need something to get me back into watching wrestling again. I was just about to make a thread about how the WWE needs a new faction that mocks people, we need something to laugh at.

Let's bring back the nWo! Get Hall out of whatever rehab center he's NOT in, give Nash a wheelchair and give Hogan a lifetime no-job contract and do it up black & white style! 4 LIFE!!

I never saw the original DX the first time around, so there's no legacy to be soiled as far as I'm concerned.
Bring it on.

I don't see how it would work. They wouldn't really have anything to do. Plus they'd be 40-year old men acting like teenagers. I just don't think it could be done well.

Yes. They can feud with guys like Flair, Cena, and RVD. plus comedy would be gold.
