He'll be back for Wrestlemania, than be gone again shortly after.

It's all part of Vince's master plan to raise up hopes, then dash them against jagged rocks.

He's too cool for the WWE. Pure genius.

He'll be back when Mick returns, feud with Orton and Batista till Wrestlemania, then go back to Hollywood.

From what i hear, one more sucky movie like "the rundown"(not seen it but but have been told its pants) and "The Rock" might just have to come back for good.

The thing that annoys me is this, almost everybody moans about rocky coming and going then coming and going again(memory's of Rock's loyalty speech about Austin come flooding back), but what happens each and every time he appears, The crowd pop like crazy. Thus making him beleive that it is fine and no matter how many time's he buggers off, he'll still be welcomed back with loving arms the next time he decides to make an appearance.

A couple of factors there:

People pop for celebrities when they show up. Hell, people pop for almost everyone who's been gone for a while, too. People popped for Hogan, and nobody was even tuning in for those segments...

People actually did boo him a couple of times, with the "You sold out" Chancts or whatever.

Also, I'm betting a lot of people would actually buy that he's "returning," rather than just showing up once.

The Rundown was an entertaining movie IMO.

Walking Tall looks pretty good too... better than The Rundown.

Yeah, why would he want to be successful when he can maintain his integrity by coming back to fans who chant "You sold out."

From what I heard, a lot of people I talked to said Rundown was awesome, and they aren't even wrestling fans. Razor has to see it before he judges it, or is he just some stooge that listens to anything someone says. Go get me a bologne sandwich!

The opening fight scene at the club was cool. Get your freak on/ACDC remix? Uh huh!

Trust me Razor, go see it first.

Yeah. I wouldn't say awesome, but I rarely do with movies (I feel that constantly hyperbolising cheapens the concept of reviewing a movie), but it was definitely a good movie.

I doubt putting out another movie like the Rundown's gonna break the Rock's movie career.

I don't blame The Rock for going for the money & fame by juggling the two careers, so I wouldn't say he should only care about what the fans want and stick to wrestling. Why should he?

What I don't like is how he's gone for 11 months, then comes back and takes over everything and is made out to be the greatest of all-time and all that crap.

I also can't blame The Rock... He doesn't really need the WWE anymore.

He comes back to promo a movie, or help a big PPV.

and let's say he was back, full-time, what would they do with him on Raw?

Another HHH Feud? or does he go after the IC belt?

Maybe he can Feud with Mark Henry and try and get him over, oh yeah... that would be exciting...

Rock back full-time would mean less of Orton, Batista, and other younger guys or guys who haven't gotten a push yet.

i fully intend to give it a go, most of the time, the films i enjoy most are the one's my mates pan.

The Rock is the man. He is smart. If he stayed full time in the WWE, I think he'd get stale alot quicker. I honestly think he will never leave the business, but instead it's probably best that he leaves for a while because it gives more exposure to the younger stars.

Him being in movies is all part of his hollywood gimmick. But it's not really a gimmick, it's legit. He is a star outside the ring instead of being a self-proclaimer.

I'm actually kinda happy for the Rock...

He had a couple of options: He could drop the title to HHH every 4 months or so, or he could go be #1 in the movie biz.

I say it's a smart choice. There's no way he'd be as big now if he was actually in wrestling. Right now, people WANT him back bad. If he ever returns full-time, there's a good chance people'll eat it up...As it is, he never actually has to wrestle again...

The Rock is only gonna get bigger. He's only done 2 movies, a couple of TV appearances etc. He's just getting started, but he's so popular outside the ring it isn't even funny. And yes, he is a bigger name than Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stone Cold's name is only associated with wrestling. When you think of The Rock, you think of not only his wrestling but also his movies. Hogan? Mr. Nanny....nevermind

The Rock is the second most popular star the WWE has ever had (next to Hogan)

I think when it comes to ratings the WWE needs Rock more then anyone but on the flip side The Rock does not need the WWE.

He's in a position where he can call his own shots. IMO he is still in his prime and can still compete with the best the WWE has today. Plus a a little bit of nostalgia doesn't hurt

I agree

besides, it constantly gives his body a break so that he can still wrestle healthy in the future
