What sick **** would buy these DVD's?

Yeah I went to a local music store and in the DVD section they have this series called "Faces Of Death" which is just video footage of actual people dying/killing/suicide/accidents. What kind of demented person gets their jollies out of watching something that sick. I mean if i worked there and someone came up to the register with one of them, I'd probably tell them to their face that they are a sick fu</>ck.

The thought of those has always disgusted me, too.

I've heard that a lot of them are actually staged, but that doesn't excuse the fact that whoever is buying/renting them is watching people die over and over again.

I mean, I'm all for free expression and all, but what the hell does it say about you when for entertainment, you sit and watch people die for two hours?

Yeah they are staged, but like what's been said, that truly shows the lowest form of entertainment (I think) that anyone could ever want to see.

Yeah, some of the FoD footage is definitely not staged. Least, I think this is the same series.

That was juts for the one video though, so like you said they might not all be staged.

I don't remember the face. I just remember the five rivers of blood coming out of it. His head didn't explode, but it did get all nastified...I'd have to watch it again to remember correctly.

edit: The guy's bald, but no moustache. Looks pretty real to me. It's in black and white, though, so it's hard to tell. Can't see anything blow out the top of his head after he fires, though. Head looks all effed up when it cuts to him laying against the desk. Probably bogus, but it still kinda freaked me first time I saw it.

I remember watching these when I was like 14 and they scared me. The bungee jumping scene where the guy tries bungeeing off the side of a building and the cord winds up being 10 feet too long or somethin.....that one cracked me up immensely. THE GUY ****IN BOUNCED, MAN!!!!!!! But then, I was an avid sportsman in those days: Hunting rabbits and squirrels with a .22 or BB gun...yeah, those were the days. While I was in the Army, we'd go out to the shooting ranges to fire .50 cal Machine Guns. There always seemed to be deer standing down about the 300 Meter mark, so that's where most of my shots wound up going. Good times:)

I would probably watch them if the opportunity was there, but only out of curiousity. I wouldn't go out of my way.
