TNA could not have picked a better time to get on TV. Even at their later timeslot.

RAW is in the process of switching to another station. Smackdown has moved to one of the worst timeslots they could choose IMO. And the product itself has been utter shit.

This is the time to give the casual fans something fresh. Something new. WWE isn't doing it. If anything they are taking steps backwards.

I really don't care if Jarrett's champ as long as they put on good matches. I havn't watched TNA in a looooooooonnnnng time. I watched it during A.J.'s first heavyweight title win. The last match I saw was the infamous Triple-X/AMW cage match. But in between I remember every main event match with Jarrett, Raven, styles, and others being very good. Even with some of the screwjob endings.

Have the Min event matches been as good as they used to be? If so I thing Think TNA may have a chance at eventualy going head to head with the king of the mountain.

This will be a HUGE test on AJ (and to a lesser extent his opponent.) Everyone is expecting AJ to come up big, pull all the stops and put on a match that will capture everyone's attention. Obviously his opponent carries some of that stress, but everyone expects AJ to carry him through anyway.

My point is if AJ can go out and prove he's a big time player, they need to put the belt back on him.

If they focus on the new and not depend on has beens and the WWE's scraps I think they have a chance of surprising a few people. I'm not saying they are going to be competition, they don't have the money, but a couple of years of solid ratings and Spike properly backing them, and then maybe they could be in the hunt. But there time to make an Impact (pun intended) is defiantly now.

Styles is great in the ring. But from an entertainment aspect, I think Jarrett and Raven are the ones who will be truly tested.

Raven doesn't need to be tested. We already knows he's entertaining, we already know he can run with it. It's Jarrett that we need to worry about. I mean, do you honestly think casual fans will WANT to see him as champion? Let alone pay to see somone beat him? No, they'll be more focused on the X-Division.
