I just pre-ordered FIFA 06 and this is the first time I have pre-ordered a game. Now im wondering do they ship the game to me or do I have to pick it up from the location? I would prefer to pay for it there and pick it up as I have no credit card

If you pre-ordered it in the shop, then you will pick it up from there and pay for it there.

Ahh I remember when I put 50 bucks down for The Wind Waker a little less than a year before it came down and they never called me to tell me it was in, and when I went in, they were sold out

I don't understand why people pre order games like Fifa 06. Sure it's a great game to you and me, but there will not be a mad rush to snag a copy before it is sold out.

I pre-ordered Smackdown Vs. RAW 2006 from EBGames.com and they told me they would call me when it came in and I'd have to pay for it in the store.

Yeah how stupid of me to accept something offered to me by an employee..

I know this probably has no relevance, seeing as one just purchased the other, but I find that Gamestop seems to reward their Reservation customers better than EB. At the moment, people who reserve Tony Hawk's American Wasteland receive a free digital camera as long as they keep the paper given to them at reservation date, as well as the receipt from the final purchase, and the UPC barcode from the game.

I've also seen things like skins for systems (IE, current Pokemon game for the GC has those), calendars, posters, and of course, demos and DVDs. I have one of each in the area, and I get better service at the Gamestop anyways.
