View Full Version : Is anyone else looking forward to seeing Triple H return?

Since Triple H has been off television several rising stars have had a chance to show us what they can do. For example, Carltio, John Cena and Chris Masters. To be honest all three have entertained me thoroughly. Carlito is entertaining as always and Master's work with Michaels has proved far and above what anyone expected of him.

However there is a distinct lack of main-eventers on RAW. In fact the only 3 superstars I would call main-eventers on RAW are Shawn Michaels, John Cena and Kurt Angle. That leaves us with one main-event heel and therefore only one real title contender. Of course Edge is a contender but not yet a true main event star.

Now with the return of Triple H, who will undoubtedly return as a heel, we will have another main event heel. His presence has been really missed on RAW in my opinion and with Cena, Edge and Angle clearly the only 3 stars we will see in the title picture for the next few months, this gives different stars a chance to feud with Triple H. Although we know a feud with Ric Flair is inevitable, I would love to see some interaction between Carlito and Triple H and perhaps a future feud with Shelton Benjamin (there is already a base for that one, we know they work together).

Ultimately I would like to see John Cena vs. Triple H while Edge and Kurt Angle feud over the title. Although Edge and Angle is a different discussion altogether.

What are your opinions on Triple H's return?

Kennedy.

I want HHH back too. I never thought I'd say that, but Raw has been utter crap without him.

Yes. Does that answer the topic? No? K then.

H is a dynamic performer in the ring, and the crowd eats his mic work up, probolly the best heel since Ric Flairs hayday.

Yeah, but that didn't last long outside of Canada.

It's still going in Canada. They will not get the fuck over it. Of course, HBK taunting them like he did against Hogan doesn't help either.

True, but what does this have to do with H?

He might have been more over, but I don't think he was better. The writing was a lot better in that period of time also, so it might not have been Triple H as much as it was some of the storylines themselves.

Over is all that matters in the long run. your a Hogan fan, you should know this.

I wouldn't mind seeing Edge and Angle again, under the right circumstances. I'll admit Edge isn't terrible, and hes had some good matches( however, you don't often hear yourself saying "Edge carried that match" do you? Theres a reason for that), but I think that eventually hes gonna slide back down the ladder.

Three years ago, I would have thought this was a great idea, but this "new" Edge makes me give less than a shit about him. He has had feuds with Randy Orton, HBK, and Chris Benoit since he's been back, but he hasn't really shined through any of them- hes gotten the wins, of course, but I was never thinking to myself, "man, Edge is a greeaaat wrestler!!! He really brought Benoit through that match."

If Edge went face again at some point in his career, mabye Angle could spark his character up again. Or maye even Angle could go face, and Edge could stay a heel....but I don't think face Angle is as fun to watch as heel Angle.

haha.......yeah.

But a lot of people in here no whos over as opposed to better. Cena, for example.

Actually, I've been missing good ole' big nose. I'm anticipating his return. Although, I would have preferred if it was not announced to us two weeks prior. I'd rather have someone like Cena or Michaels in the ring talking, then all of a sudden his music hits.
