If you're too lazy, you child of the internet you, it basically is saying that TNA registered the trademarks of Ray and Devon Deadly, and the Deadly Death Drop.

The Deadly Boyz...
Oh well, that sounds okay.
They should call their reverse 3D (backdrop/neck breaker) the Deadly Ville Horror (DVH).

Well gosh Kip James could've done something like this.
He could've called himself "Mr. Anal."

He could have faked an accent and been Mr. Arse.
TerranRich
09-26-2005, 02:08 AM
Well, he could have also faked talent and gotten over enough to not be released in the first place. ;)

Just change the soft 'U' sound to a soft 'E' sound, and it sounds interesting. "Deadly Death Drop" might sound dumb, but it works. Good move on their part.

Devon Deadly sounds abit weird to me, just because i'm so used to it being dudley, it sort of works though.
Not too bad. "The Deadly Boyz", sounds alright actually.

I'll still call them the Dudleys though. Just out of habit.

TNA actually comes up with some good names for wrestlers - Abyss is badass!
The One
09-26-2005, 12:22 PM
But this is the first time they have taken an established name and made something that sounds close enough but also sounds good.
I wonder how much WWE legal will be on TNA's balls if Tenay calls the Deadly Boys the Dudleys be accident even once.

Vince: "Ok, I've brought you in to file a lawsuit against TNA"
Lawyer: "Sure thing Mr McMahon. Is it over the expected problems with the trademarked Dudley boys name?"
Vince: "That and the fact they show wrestling on their show."
Lawyer: "I'm sorry?"
Vince: "Wrestling. They showed wrestling. With a ring, and wrestlers."
Lawyer: "Sir, I don't know how to say this but they are a wrestling company."
Vince: "But I own wrestling."
Lawyer: "Sir, I believe...."
Vince: "I OWN WRESTLING! IT'S MINE! I MADE IT! MINE!"
*Lawyer slowly moves towards door*

Though technically, Vince says he hates pro wrestling and his biggest regret is that he can't take the word Wrestling out. He only loves Sports Entertainment...the stuff in the ring is like filler to him I guess.

Good god. The man who basically has a monopoly over the wrestling industry dislikes wrestling itself.
It's like Hitler actually being raised in Austria and being short, dark and ugly despite his Arian dreams..... oh wait :shifty:

Yeah I remember that, when did he say that though?I can't remember, but I think it was on tough enough for some reason...I could be completely wrong.
