View Full Version : The death of..Hulk Hogan? (before you freak out, it's a scenario)

Do you guys think it'll be a very depressing and emotional show follow Hogans death? What do you think they'll do for it? Celebrate his achievments, mourne his death, or what? I, for one, am interested in how this inevitable scenario will play out.

OK Jaton, you just gave me a f*cking heart attack.

When I saw the title, I thought Hogan had died.:(

Jaton
09-26-2005, 09:09 AM
I think I'll change the title before I start getting like..10x neg rep.

Chavo Classic
09-26-2005, 09:10 AM
I think it'll be a very similar show to the Raw following Over the Edge 99. Wrestlers telling stories of Hogan and some matches dedicated to the Hulk. I imagine it'll actually be an up-beat show which celebrates his career and achievements with colourful video packages and desire videos.

Jaton
09-26-2005, 09:11 AM
I think they'd do it on a much bigger scale than Owen. Hell, I could even imagine different feds coming together for at least one memorial show.

Cool King
09-26-2005, 09:12 AM
I don't even wanna think about Hogan's death.:(

So you guys can just talk to each other.

Chavo Classic
09-26-2005, 09:14 AM
Sure, there could be a memorial card or supershow, but I'm thinking about the SD or Raw immeadiately after his death.

I imagine the memorial supershow will be very much the same, perhaps with a card featuring new talents (who could be the next Hogan) such as Cena, Orton and even Masters, along with some of his old opponents coming out of retirement such as Warrior, Macho Man and Sgt Slaughter

Jaton
09-26-2005, 09:15 AM
I doubt Warrior would. His ego would get in the way.

Jaton

LMAO. Reminds me of the Chappelle's Show episode where they swap the lives of a crack dealer and a millionaire CEO to see how the legal system would treat them as the other person.

Tron: "All right then. ONE LOVE!"
Cop: "Um...I love you, too..."

Anyway on to the topic at hand, I am sure alot of people will be upset, we will get close ups on marks who are crying, the smarts who try to bring in anti-Hogan signs will be stopped and had their signs taken away, everyone will talk about how there can only be one Hogan, and how he changed the sport forever...everyone will be wearing a black arm band and after every match (which only faces will win) they will do the point up to the sky mouthing the words "I love you man".

What will be happening at my house? Since I don't want to watch a Hogan cluster fuck I will probably just put in some old NWA tapes and watch Ric Flair and sit around worrying he might be next. :( But then I will take comfort in the fact that "Diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair!"

Chavo Classic

I doubt Warrior would. His ego would get in the way.

Yeah. Warrior would proabaly pick him up out of his casket and gorilla press slam him then have a ref count three. He could then finally go to sleep at night.

No, since Hulkamania and HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN will live forever. When Hogan dies, I plan to sue WWE for mis-advertising. "But you said he was immortal! I made plans around him always being there!!!

Chavo Classic
09-26-2005, 12:12 PM
oh dear

Do you plan to do the same when Hardy kicks the bucket? :nono:

The One
09-26-2005, 12:15 PM
I have no idea what will happen when Flair dies. The NWA (and I am sure TNA), WWE, and just about every promotion across the planet will want to have a memorial show for him. When Hogan goes it will only be WWE morning I'd imagine.

Chavo Classic
09-26-2005, 12:20 PM
I think there will be at least three middle aged wrestlers dying before Hogan or Flair kick the bucket

The One
09-26-2005, 12:23 PM
Oh I don't think Flair or Hogan are close to dying...but let's face it...they will at some point.

Jaton

Flair is going to die mid-woo. I really don't want to see him retire though. I can imagine WrestleMania 30 when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame. I'll so be shedding tears for that one. :|

Regardless of how much the man (Hogan) pisses me off from a smark's perspective, it will be a sad day when he dies. I can imagine the rosters re-uniting for the one night to put on a memorial show on the Raw or SD after he dies...everyone will be wearing arm bands, and it wouldn't even shock me if the ropes were red and yellow.

It'll basically be like the Owen show, but on a much larger scale...seeing as EVERYBODY knows who HUlk Hogan is

Corkscrewed
09-26-2005, 03:38 PM
DAMMIT HAVEN'T YOU WATCH WWE PROGRAMMING? HULKAMANIA WILL NEVER DIE! THAT'S WHY THEY CALL HIM THE IMMORTAL HULK HOGAN!!! IF HE 'DIES' IT'LL ALL BE A SWERVE!!!!

Nah, they'd prolly have like a 20 minute tribute video, or basically 1/10 of how long a Hogan promo would last.

You guys forgot to mention the leaders from other countries stopping in at the show to mention their favorite Hulkster moments-who could forget the time that Castro accidently tripped over Hogan's massive red and yellow wreath?

And BAH GAWD HIS LEGEND IS IMMORTAL, Corkscrewed, not the man himself. Damn.
