I think the one that sticks out the most to me was the Smackdown! where the Rock announced that Stone Cold would be in the building tonight, and DX started freaking out and walking around the building all catiously and shit. Then there was a RATTLESNAKE in their dressing room, and Stephanie started screaming, and then all of DX came to the ring, with Triple H laughing at the Rock for scaring them and Austin no-showing. Then Austin appeared on the Titantron, talked some smack about how the only side he was on was Stone Cold's side, and then blew up the DX mobile. Good Episode.

Also, does anybody remember during the McMahon-Helmsly era when Stephanie had Triple H arrested and put in that cage hanging over the ring? That was another good one.

Another one that comes to mind was when Flair and Orton had the briefcase with 100,000 stolen from them and were frantically trying to get it back. Might have been the same one where Batista collected the bounty, but i'm not sure.

nah, at the end triple h came back and got it back, it was a nice subtle return for him, batista got it a while later i'm pretty sure

I remember when they actually played it off like Triple H got bit by that rattlesnake and had his face looking all messed up. And he ended up just tearing the scab mask off later in the night. That was a good one.

The one that came to mind when I read the title of this thread isn't really a storyline, it's more of a way that they presented part of a story that impressed me.

A wrestler (don't remember who) was giving a backstage interview to Coach, and in the background you could see Ric Flair guiding HHH (both in character) who was driving a forklift down a connecting hallway. Later we saw that HHH and Flair had used the forklift to trap Goldberg in his dressing room.

I was just impressed that they actually had a second story going on in the background of interview. I thought it was pretty cool and creative, and have since been waiting for them to do something like that again but alas....

Another good one was when DX was putting people in that van throughout the night....they put Foley in it, Kane in it, and the Rock, but when they were looking for Austin, he was one upping them every step of the way, and then DX got their shit kicked in at the end of the episode.

That chase-the-midget match that kept interfering with backstage segments. I know it was on RAW, can't remember for shit who was in it. Pretty sure the Hurricane was there, though. I just can't get over how JR reacted when it hopped in his lap...put his hat on it and said something to the extent of "Hey there, little fella'."

Yeah, so my fondest memories from wrestling involve midgets. Shut the hell up.

That, my friend, was Bischoff's RAW Roullette night where Hurricane and Rosey fought each other...in a Catch The Midget match. I found it hilarious, and have the clip if anyone wants it.

I can remember back when Edge was good, when Angle was being interviewed in the back talking about revealing his new shirt, and you could see Edge in the back smiling all big and waving to everyone as he switched the shirts literally right behind his back. Those were the days.

The one storyline that immediately comes to mind is the RAW that people call the "Flair Tribute Show". For those who don't remember it was a show where Flair was booked to face his buddy Triple H for the Heavyweight Title. Hunter was basically telling Flair to lay down for him, etc... This may be a little sketchy, but I believe HBK pumps up Flair by mentioning his illustrious history. Flair then confronts H and tells him to "be at his best". Going into the match you knew that Flair really didn't have a chance to win. However, it what was one of the greatest matches in 2003 and probably one of the best on RAW. H and Flair had you reeling in a back and forth adventure which turned smart wrestling fans into a bloody marks . It was an amazing match with a simple build-up, but it worked.

Indeed, I was screaming at the TV when the figure four was locked in begging for H to tap. I grew up in the south and Ric Flair is the wrestling god where I am from.
