View Full Version : How would you book WWE Survivor Series?
Somebody's Gotta Die

I think the show could be pretty interesting... Here is what I would book:
Angle vs. Cena
- Angle wins the title...
Batista vs. Eddie
- Eddie wins the title...
HHH vs. Flair
- HHH wins the title and feuds with midcarders, thus allowing Angle to have a decent run as champion losing the belt to Shelton at WM...
Benoit vs. Christian
- Grudge match for title, Christian retains the title... Goes on to feud with guys like Rey, Lashley, Hardy and Booker for the title...
Randy & Bob Orton vs. Piper & Taker
- The Ortons almost get the win in another passing of the torch when Foley hits the ring and saves the faces... Taker hits a tombstone and pins Bob...
Snitsky, Masters, Carlito & Edge vs. Booker, Rey, Lashley & Hardy
- Team SmackDown! is victorious when Lashley wins it for them...
Benjamin, Big Show, HBK & returning Kane or RVD vs. JBL, Kennedy, Jordan & Sylvain
- Team RAW gets a decisive win...
+
Something with Burchill/Regal, Cade/Murdoch & cruiserweights... Conway would also be pretty good...

RVD won't be wrestling until early 2006. It would be nice to see him back in action again... RVD should make his big return at WM22.
rvd returns to the ring late oct to early nov

If this is so, then he would be a perfect fit for a return at Survivor Series...

HHH winning the IC title and feuding with the midcard? :nono:
What makes you think this will happen? Either Flair wil lose the title (possibly through the intervention of HHH) or the match at SS will be non-title. HHH doesn't care about the IC title. He's the game..... apparently

pretty sure RVD is cleared to wrestle now, and has been for a few weeks, he just hasn't been broguht back yet due to creative reasons or something of that nature

Also pretty sure WrestleMania is the only time interpromotional matches are "allowed". Not sure of that though.

I think you're right. Having matches from both brands are fine, but I'm sure feuds between characters from each brand are generally saved for the big one

I'd have a the main event be an interpromotional Survivor Series Match. Classic Style w/ 5 guys per team instead of 4 like it is sometimes:
John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Kurt Angle, Edge
VS
Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, JBL, Chris Beniot
Have them book it across the lines of heel and face. Like real brand warfare(kinda like this years Rumble was booked).

There is no rule against having interpromotional matches only at Mania. And if there where such a rule the WWE would just ignore it anyhow and break continuity. Interpromotional SS tag matches is almost a definite this year.

i'm going to this, since it's in detroit,
and personally, i'd rather the main event didn't involve Cena,
put Batista Vs. Mystero for the title,
since it seems they're going that way.
HHH Vs Flair though... classic.
I'd love to see it in the cell... but Flair + Cell = wrong.

WWE Title Match
Cena vs Angle
Angle wins when he reverse the FU straight into the ankle lock. Cena goes for the ropes but Bischoff pulls them away. Tap out.
World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs Eddie Guerrero
Batista nails Eddie with a chair while the ref is out, throws the chair to Eddie, then flops to the ground. Eddie is DQ'd. It would be sweet IMO to see Batty pull an "Eddie"
Intercontinental Title Match (Submission match)
Ric Flair vs Triple H
The set up for this match could be really good. Have Flair come out and say that Triple H is The Game but he has once weakness that only Flair knows about. Flair says he knows that Triple H will never be able to match Flair in the submission game. It rips Trips apart that Flair could be better in a certain area so he agress for the match to be a submission match. The match ends with Flair having the figure four locked onto Trips and Triple H reverses it with a sledgehammer shot to the head. Trips reverses into the sharpshooter. Flair is out. Match is called. After the match the announcers can reveal that the only way you can win a submission match is if the opponent gives up or is unable to go on, which is why puffy man wasn't DQ'd. Major heat. New Ic Champ.
All I got for now.

since a few WM's have been based on comebacks, you think they could give RVD the royal rumble win to go to WM??

Just need to add that I've edited the ending to one of the raw/sd SS classic matches, the one involving benoit/edge.I could see this card being close to the real thing. If the WWE used it, I would pay for SS.

Just a quick thought on all of this, I would book it almost entirely in the "old school" Survivor Series fashion, with the exception of title defenses. Use this even to put a few low-mid carders in a main event storyline and see how they do. Thats just my two cents.

HHH winning the IC title and feuding with the midcard? :nono:
HHH wins the IC title, then wins the WWE title.
He unifies both. It all works out.... for HHH. :shifty:

Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit & Booker T vs. JBL, Orlando Jordan, William Regal & Paul Burchill
-Batista and Eddie Guerrero keep up their "friendship" until Survivor Series. Booker T and Chris Benoit have a similiar deal. Regal & Burchill land some sneak attacks on Benoit (after winning the WWE Tag Team Championship from LOD) and Booker T runs to Benoit's defense. JBL & Orlando Jordan are given another oppourtunity to pin their respective rivals again.
-Orlando Jordan bites the bullet first, when Chris Benoit manages to pin him with help from Booker T.
-Chris Benoit is then eliminated by JBL after a Clothesline from Hell. Booker T doesn't help, realising he can make himself look better than Benoit here.
-Booker T is eliminated by Paul Burchill. Ironically, if Benoit was still around, he could have saved Booker. Karma at its best.
-William Regal is disqualified for using brass knuckles on Eddie Guerrero. Burchill gets the cover to pin his second former World Champion in the match.
-Batista gets the Batista Bomb on Paul Burchill, but he can't cover. Eventually Batista is about to win the match, but the numbers get to Batista, and Burchill pins Batista after a Clothesline from Hell by JBL.
WINNERS: The Cabinet & The WWE Tag Team Champions with JBL & Paul Burchill surviving.
Edge, Kurt Angle, Christian & Brian Kendrick vs. John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Matt Hardy & Paul London
-Matt Hardy helps Edge win the WWE Championship at Taboo Tuesday. Hardy's reasoning is that if Hardy will always be seen as below Edge, he may as well make Edge as high as possible on that ladder. Edge is upset that Hardy helped out, so Hardy responds by beating the crap through Edge with a steel chair. Cena & Shawn Michaels, as the top two faces are put into a team against Edge at Survivor Series, and Hardy joins to blowoff his feud with Edge. Angle joins the heel team to be against Cena and Michaels (HBK and Angle blowoff their feud in an Iron Man Match at Taboo Tuesday, which goes to sudden death again, with Angle walking out again. HBK gets the official win via countout, though). There is still one spot on the face team, so HBK says he will fill it with one of his former students. He chooses Paul London. This upsets Kendrick who is pissed off at London, because when he loses it always seems London is involved. Christian joins due to his history with Edge.
-Tyson Tomko and Snitsky make appearances, helping Edge get the final word in his feud with Matt Hardy, eliminating him.
-Hardy distracts Edge in a final retort. Hardy distracts Edge long enough for London to roll the WWE Champion up.
-London manages to get his second victory against Kurt Angle, when he rolls-up Angle in counter to the Ankle Lock, proving his worth to the face team.
-Kendrick hits Paul London with brass knuckles to eliminate him. This pisses off Shawn Michaels, upset a student of his would sink to that level.
-Kendrick cheats again to eliminate Shawn Michaels.
-John Cena pins Kendrick with a massive F-U to eliminate him (I'm sure Cena and Kendrick can come up with a way to make the move pretty).
-Christian is pinned by John Cena when the ref is knocked down, Edge misses Cena and Spears Christian, and Cena hits Christian with a one-man con-char-to for the face victory.
WINNERS: John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Matt Hardy & Paul London with John Cena surviving
Randy Orton, Ken Kennedy, Sylvan & Doug Basham vs. The Undertaker, Kane, Hardcore Holly & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper
-This is basically set up in two lots. Randy Orton vs. 'Taker, Kane & Piper and Hardcore Holly vs. Ken Kennedy & Sylvan. Kennedy, Sylvan and Orton decide to work together and start a "Revolution" against the veterans that just won't die, and they let Doug Basham join their cause.
-Piper cleans house for the faces, but is eliminated by a Last Impression by Doug Basham, who proves his worth. Sylvan gets the cover on Piper.
-Sylvan is eliminated when 'Taker blasts him with the Last Ride.
-Holly is eliminated when he goes ape shit with a steel chair. This allows Kane to get the tag, however, and eliminate Doug Basham with a Chokeslam.
-Ken Kennedy pins The Undertaker with a Lambeau Leap.
-Kane manages to put up a good fight, but an illegal shot from "Cowboy" Bob Orton followed up by a series of moves by Kennedy and Orton, and finally an RKO put the monster down.
WINNERS: Revolution with Randy Orton and Ken Kennedy surviving.
Triple H, Carlito, Chris Masters & Big Show vs. Shelton Benjamin, Ric Flair, Shane Helms & Sean Morley
-Yes I did pretty much throw this together. Flair reveals on an upcoming RAW that he's not going to face Triple H. Flair is past his prime and can't hold a candle to Triple H, but he's taken a protege under his wing that can. Shelton Benjamin beats Triple H at Taboo Tuesday to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (which is awarded to Benjamin by Flair), so Triple H gets Masters and Carlito on his side. Benjamin saddles up with Flair, and two talented guys that have broken out of their dead-end gimmicks that to Flair. Big Show joins Triple H because he has a grudge going with Benjamin (Shelton and Show win the World Tag Team Titles, but Benjamin puts his IC Title Match first at Taboo Tuesday, and he and Show lose the Tag Titles to Kerwin White & Nick Nemeth later that same night).
-Ric Flair is destroyed by the heels, and they present him to Triple H to pin. Flair is gone.
-Shane Helms eliminates Chris Masters with a roll-up.
-Sean Morley pins Carlito with the "Morley Shot" (for lack of a better name).
-Big Show pins Shane Helms with a Chokeslam.
-Big Show hits the Chokeslam on Shelton Benjamin, and makes the tag to Triple H so The Game can get his first pinfall over the Intercontinental Champion. Benjamin comes to life and pins Triple H after the Exploder to get rid of him.
-Big Show puts up a valiant effort, but he is eliminated by countout when Benjamin and Morley make re-entering the ring impossible for Show. Benjamin officially gets the decision for his team.
WINNERS: Shelton Benjamin, Ric Flair, Shane Helms & Sean Morley with Shelton Benjamin & Sean Morley surviving.
Rey Mysterio, Juventud, Psicosis & Super Crazy vs. Nunzio, Vito, Guido & Jamie Noble
-Granted, this is a bit of a demotion for Rey Mysterio, but who else fits in with The Mexicools? This is based around the Cruiserweight Title and Mexicool vs. FBI feud. Jamie Noble joins his "cousin" for this match. They remind us of the bad blood between Noble and Mysterio, and highlight the fact that Noble is a former ROH World Champion (if they can).
-Vito goes first when he deliberately whacks Psicosis with a steel chair.
-Guido pins the unconscious Psicosis (still down from the Vito chair shot) to even the score.
-Guido performs hari kari, this time Super Crazy is the chair victim. Noble goes for the cover, but Crazy shows some resilience and kicks out.
-Nunzio pins Juventud to eliminate him. Noble holds Nunzio in the pin, but the referee doesn't realise it.
-Jamie Noble eliminates Super Crazy with a Tiger Driver. Maybe even one off the top rope.
-Rey Mysterio pins Jamie Noble with a West Coast Pop.
-Mysterio wins the match for The Mexicools when Noble runs down and protects his "cousin" by saving him from getting pinned. Nunzio is disqualified. After the match The FBI beats on Mysterio, but The Mexicools make the save.
WINNERS: Rey Mysterio & The Mexicools with Rey Mysterio surviving.
Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle & Lita vs. Trish Stratus, Ashley Massaro, Alexis Laree & Phoenix
-Victoria wins the Women's Championship at Taboo Tuesday, so this match is about Trish Stratus leading her (talented) whores against Victoria's whores.
-Candice Michelle is eliminated easily by double-teaming from Alexis Laree and Phoenix. Phoenix covers.
-The same goes for Torrie Wilson. This time Alexis gets the pin.
-Lita is pinned by Trish Stratus.
-Victoria pins Ashley Massaro after the Widow's Peak.
-Victoria is pinned by Phoenix.
WINNERS: Trish Stratus, Ashley Massaro, Alexis Laree & Phoenix with Trish Stratus, Alexis Laree & Phoenix surviving.
