Welcome everyone once again to Rate the Tag Team!!! Somebody has cracked the top 3! That team is none other than The Rock N' Roll Express who tied with The Hart Foundation. They ended up scoring a 96. I think that is a very deserving score and they are definitely top 10 of all time. Today we have a team that was requested last week and here they are ...

This team started out as single wrestlers and were both members of the Hart Foundation. They won the tag titles by beating The Smoking Guns and held those titles for longer than anyone at the time. Something weird happend when one member got popular with the fans and the other got more and more heat. Together these two were a sight to see in the ring. They eventually started to feud over the European title but later were brought together by Bret Hart. They were briefly managed by Clarence Mason. These two are missed by all, The British Bulldog and Owen Hart!

I've been waiting for this one.

I remember they were my absolute favorite team growing up. It didn't matter to me that they were mostly heel. They had the perfect combination of brute strength (Davey) and unparalleled athleticism (Owen). Will go down in history as my favorite tag team of all time. I'd say one of the most talented as well.

9.3...Great team. no doubt, better then the Stieners, but not as good as Arn & Tully.

But only because I don't have the heart to give Davey & Owen the 10 I'm going to give the British Bulldogs. It would be like rating Paul McCartney's bands and saying Wings was better than The Beatles.

As much as I love both guys, they just never totally clicked, IMO.

Fantastic singles wrestlers, but they didn't tag together long enough time together for my taste.

There hasn't been a team as good as them, nor even remotely close to as talented as them, since they have been gone. They carried the tag division for what it was worth, and when you mix two talernts like them, they combined everything in to the package..speed, finesse, strength, agility..just everything.

yea, they were missing something, but they were a cool combo. Power, Agility, Speed and Size all together. They didn't last too long and they wrestled in a time where tag teams sucked.

Two wrestlers that made the Tag Team belts worth fighting for. I remember when the Hart Foundation had every title except World in their stable, and Owen and Davey held them all - Tag, European and IC. A fantastic tag team made up of two singles stars who both could have carried the World title with credibility. A shame that the best things in life never last as long as we'd like them to.

I have no shame in rating this team with the same score I gave to Bret and Anvil, and the same score I'll be giving the British Bulldogs when their day comes on Rate the Tag Team:

a great, big, fat 10 (ten).

great combination of wrestlers to become tag champs, one of the few teams that started out singles then tagged and looked even better.
