..because I pretty much hated the show. Well, to be honest, it was more like I was really bored by it.

I dug the opening...especially them playing off the Orton/Piper past. And even though I thought they might as well have let Kurt win the Iron Man match (have him cheat. who cares? its not like HBK would lose any credibility) the ending definitely didnt take away from the fact that it was a great match.

After that...kinda wished I'd watched UFC.

SCSA was trite and predictable. He's a parody of himself out there and the segment was basically pointless.

The MITB was kinda :|

Triple H heel turn? Can you call it a turn if he basically just acted more heelish thann normal. He's heelier than thou ? Whatever. :|

Legends segment? OK...but its just hard to get into anytihng involving Conway, especially when the live crowd's reaction is a deafening :|

Hogan...:|

Cena v Bischof....awful, just god awful Where are they going with this. the reason that Austin/Vinnce worked back in the day is because Vince actually got the best of Austin occasionally. Plus, they had talent and charisma and whatnot. this is the worst anti-authority angle since Russo's Standars & Practices tag-team.

The entire ending.....:|

In short, nothing about that show seemed memorable or special in my eyes. People are saying that it was "The Best RAW in a while" That's not exactly saying much. I was was more entertained by TNA than Homecoming. Hell, I was way more entertained by the commercials for Homecomng than Homecoming. ...just my opinion.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to PureHatred again.

Some people are so desperate for Raw to be good again that they lost all objectivity that night. I was stunned ~STUNNED~ by people falling all over themselves over a collection of segments and matches that were either pointless, boring, or both.

people have different opinions. what do you want? different wants, different needs, different tastes, different likes, different dislikes. I'm never stunned if I thought a show was the worst piece of shit ever, but someone else thought it was one of the best ever because that's how the world goes.

I find it pointless to start bashing people's opinions.

The opening was good. The iron man match was damn good, not great, but damn good. Same with the Ladder match. The Austin segment was great, primarly because of Shane and Steph.

Saw HHH Flair coming, but it wasn't badly done.

The only real big downside was Smackdown getting screwed, and the shit main event.

The Iron Man match was the only good thing this homecoming had. I chose not to watch Bischoff/Cena because of TUF2 and the fact that every Cena match ends the same way.

I agree with basically everything PH said.

I also think they went way too long on some skits [Austin, The McMahons; HHH, Flair], while cutting others too short. Also, out of all the people to send out there - Conway? WTF? I mean seriously. I enjoyed the backstage skit with the Divas, Mae & Moolah & the legends more than nearly everything else.

For fuck sake, people like PureHatred are never satisfied. Only thing i disliked was the main event and they way pissed on smackdown. This thread is why the WWE doesn't care about internet fans.

I could have posted this exact same thing in complaint about that "be positive about Raw" thing. You're right, people will have different opinions, and those include negative ones.

I didn't see the whole show, but I started watching about 40 min from the end, and I changed the channel once the main event started. I don't think I saw any actual matches- just Smackdown getting treated like dirt and a Hogan promo; wow, great. I wish they'd saved the iron man match for the end. Ah well.
