Anyone else got this new adventure game?, i bought it on friday and its pretty good, it's set out like a movie and you control 3 characters with a fourth being controllable later, at certain times as well you have to control each character at a certain point even if there in different locations, anyone else played it?

I was really impressed by the demo, but less impressed by the game itself. It was very unique and had a lot of promise, but the story was kinda bad and the controls got old after the first few times.

They played it up like every single thing would effect the story later, but they turned out to just be tiny differences. From what I can tell there are only 3 real endings, all of which are pretty much the same.

It looks like they're leaning towards a sequel, if they introduce some new gameplay elements I'll play it.

OH, one more thing. The love story crap they tried to cram in at the last second was completel BS.

The only thing that changes in the 3 endings is the location and who is in control of the world.

*spoilers*

If you let the cult guy win, they will be in control of the world. The scene takes place in the city where the cold has stopped. Everything else the same.

If you let the AI thing win, they will control the world. The scene takes place in the city during the worst blizzard ever. Everything else pretty much the same.

Just finished this, bought it after a recommendation. Jonster's link is down so I dunno what he said but basically I loved the scope and the presentation, but I agree about the story. Started good but kinda tailspinned towards the end there.

Also how does San Andreas take so much heat for 'hot coffee' while this game slips by completely unnoticed :$ Not only with a similar thing but also *spoiler* necrophilia?! *end spoiler* :|

*bump*

Finally got round to getting this game on Monday and I don't think I've enjoyed a game in this genre as mcuh as this since the early Broken Sword games.

I really can't wait to find out what's going to happen next in the story, which is good because it keeps you hooked and interested.

Just up to the part where there has been another two murders, Agetha has been killed and Lucas has just escaped from the cops.

I remember thinking the controls would suck when I first heard about them but it works really well, I was actually quite suprised how well it worked.

Top game :y:

Just finished the game, took around 6 hours or so, really short.

Was laughing my head off when Carla turned round and told Lucas she loved him, talk about coming out of nowhere.

The part with Carla at the asylum freaked me out. I'm not scared of the dark, but being trapped in a place full of mental folk isn't really my cup of tea.

The last battles were pretty hot. I got the ending where Lucas rules the world and everything is nice and ok, with lots of flowers around. Gonna go and see what the other endings are like.

Top game :y:

Out of interest - did you notice that was 30 days later or not? It wasn't obvious and a lot of people missed it.

Yeah I did, but it still seemed so odd.

What was the article on your site?

Just played through the last section again to get the other two endings, and I cant decide which is the best.

The AI ending is pretty neat, where as the Oricale one is pretty pointless.

The one I originally got was when he sat under a tree all emo.
