View Full Version : What would have happened if Triple H had never been injured?

Both in real life and in storylines. I always think about that because they were starting to do the "breaking down" of the 2-Man Power Trip, but the InVasion would have been a lot different with Triple H still there. Maybe instead of Angle/Austin it would have been Triple H/Austin at Unforgiven. Hell, maybe Terra Ryzin would have returned to wrestling :shifty:.


Tell me, what do you think would have happened?

Triple H was in the IC title picture just before he got injured which was strange. I wonder if he would have stayed there longer if hadn't been injured. Doubt it...

He would've turned back to Terra Ryzin just so he could turn heel and join the Invasion.

He would have jobbed out the allience even quicker than everyone else managed too

But its something that i've wondered about in the past, same thing with Benoit, the writing team could have made something really interesting with him due to his history with wcw.

I think HHH got injured at the perfect time. I have a feeling that if he didnt get injured the fans would have tired of him as a heel quickily and I dont think he would have been a 10 time champ if it wasnt for his injury

I heard he was supposed to beat Rock for the WCW title instead of Jericho before he got hurt.

Jericho would have been sent over to the alliance and jobbed to fucking Spike Dudley.

I still think that Jericho would have been pushed and still would have been the undisputed champion or would have had a WWF title run. Management where high on Jericho and Benoit at that time wanting to put them over Austin and HHH during the two man power trip angle. If HHH wasnt injured he prehaps would have jobbed to jericho or benoit.


Prehaps the better question was what would have happened if Benoit was never injured?
