-- Today on his radio show, Al Franken called former WWE champion JBL “the nicest guy ever”, and talked about the strong reactions he got when they were doing USO tours together.

------------------------------------------

Hey, if Al Franken likes him, he can't be that bad.... I'm just wondering if Al said that because JBL soaped him up in the shower.

Al Franken is the man.

Al Franken + WWE = Ratings.

You know what, I think I just found who I want to be Ross' replacement!

I loved JBL for his antics which forced out Amy Weber. That shit was hilarious.

Al Franken - Former SNL writer and he played Stuart Smally

He also hosts a show on Air America Radio...called The Al Franken Show, and I believe they play it on Sundance Channel as well...the O Franken Factor.

He's also written several hilarious books, I suggest you check out "Lies and the Lying Liars That Tell Them."

Think I've seen that book. Looks a lot like the cover of Stupid White Men, right?

ummmm, Sort of...I guess. It's just Franken and a bunch of TVs behind him showing Ann Coulter, Bill O Reilly, Cheney, and Bush.

Ah yes. I think I only relate the two because of the nature of their content (and maybe the font). Was going to get it for a long train journey a few months ago, but after reading Moore's terrible attempt for a book called 'Dude, Where's my <s>point</s> Country?' I was put off political books for a while

lol yeah, both are liberal. Well, Moore's book wasn't that bad, in fact, I found it pretty funny. However, there were some flaws in there (obviously of course lol), but his overall point was decent esp about the support toward Israeli oppression against Palestinians. Some of it was absurd and made no sense...like that chapter about him dreaming that oil ran out? Wtf was that? lolol

Franken mainly focuses on Domestic issues, and actually knows a thing or two about politics. His books are absolutely hilarious though especially when he mocks Republicans and the government as a whole. I suggest you check out his books...SNL satirical homour style. Real good.

I don't find Franken to be all that funny. I've seen some clips of him on SNL and he had his moments. Now I think he's a little bit of a has been. Also, being right wing, don't care too much about his politics either.

Actually, when I was serving in Iraq, he came to my base (this was before JBL, when he was still APA) and he was a damn classy guy. I drove him around all day and he was the shit. (of course, this was before I knew he was a republican.)
