View Full Version : OK, I was really bored

So I wrote up a quick little concept for how I'd like to see RAW go next week. Won't happen, but I'd be interested in whether or not you all think it's pretty good, or completely shit. Anyway, here it is:

-Shane McMahon comes out during a Vince, Steph and Linda promo and says that they are not fit to run the company, and he reveals he is the new Chairman of the WWE. It is revealed that Eric Bischoff was given the night off by the McMahon family to allow them a night all to themselves. Shane says he will fill-in as General Manager for the evening.

-His first act as Chairman is to order a shift in divisions. The WWE Cruiserweight Division will now be featured on RAW, and the WWE Women’s Division will now be a staple of SmackDown!. Shane McMahon says that every employee with wrestling training 220lbs or under o the male gender will be on RAW from now on. Every female with wrestling training will be on SmackDown!. Jim Ross is re-hired as a WWE PPV commentator. Josh Mathews will do play-by-play on RAW. Rey Mysterio will not be exempt from the division switch. Vito will accompany Nunzio to RAW.

-Shane McMahon announces an Elimination Chamber for Taboo Tuesday. WWE Champion John Cena will defend against Kurt Angle, Edge, Big Show, Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio. Triple H will face Ric Flair for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. McMahon re-instates the “IC Champion is de facto #1 Contender for the WWE Championship” stipulation. Shane says he will book all the matches for Taboo Tuesday personally, as the event is supposed to be out of Eric Bischoff's hands.

-We go to the commercial break with advertisements for matches and events to take place later. Kane will face Kurt Angle in a one-on-one match. Mick Foley will be on Carlito’s Cabana, Triple H will face Matt Striker & we will see the debut of Shawn Michaels’ new in-show talk show, “Sittin’ with Shawn”.

-Rob Conway & Eugene are about to have a match, but it is interrupted by Shane McMahon. Shane says that he has decided Jonathan Coachman will be punished for his out on line comments about JR on Byte This! by facing a WWE superstar that wants to get his hands on Jonathan Coachman. This will happen later tonight. Shane then turns his attention towards Eugene & Rob Conway. Seeing as SmackDown! is getting the short-end of the division switch, Eugene & Rob Conway will be sent over to SmackDown! as compensation. Rob Conway vs. Eugene will take place on Friday Night SmackDown! this week, as well a Chris Benoit vs. Booker T for the WWE United States Championship and World Heavyweight Champion Batista & Eddie Guerrero vs. The Ortons. Seeing as they are now officially SmackDown! superstars, they will team together in an interpromotional match against RAW tag team The Heart Throbs. Conway & Eugene win with a Doomsday Device on Romeo.

-Triple H beats Matt Striker with a Pedigree. After the match Triple H challenges any superstar who thinks Triple H was disrespectful to Ric Flair to do something about it next week. Shelton Benjamin answers the call and says he really doesn’t care about what Triple H did to Flair, but he would love to get another win over Triple H and become #2 Contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

-Carlito teased a face turn on the Cabana by saying he respects Mick Foley, and that part of the reason he doesn’t respect Ric Flair is because of Flair insulting Foley. Carlito says Mick is a nice guy, but with a dark side, which is evident in his writing Scooter and his matches as Cactus Jack, Mankind, Dude Love and even his more recent Mick Foley appearances. Carlito says that is very similiar to Carlito, who isn't as harmless as he may appear. Carlito says that Foley has a knack for putting over guys like Carlito. Randy Orton is the youngest World Champion ever in part due to Mick Foley. Carlito asks Mick to put him over by saying he is the best new talent Foley has ever seen. Mick agrees with Carlito, but Foley also says he doesn’t know if Carlito has reached his full-potential yet. Foley isn't going to whore himself out for new talent, but he would love to step into the ring with a kid that actually respects him, and reserve his words of enhancement until after the match. Carlito is worried about this, and says that Foley should just put him over now, but here comes Shane McMahon. McMahon says that at Taboo Tuesday, it will be Mick Foley vs. Carlito.

-Jonathan Coachman is in the ring with wrestling gear. He is being punished for his words against JR on Byte This!. Coachman’s opponent is…Val Venis. Josh Mathews & Jerry Lawler remind us of the tension between Coach and Venis. Venis demolishes Coachman, and hits him with The Money Shot for the win. Venis then joins Jerry Lawler & Josh Mathews on commentary for the rest of the night.

-Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch are guests on “Sittin’ with Shawn” and HBK congradulates CM on winning the World Tag Team Championship from The Hurricane & Rosey at Unforgiven with the TNT (the name of their clothesline/chop block combo). Michaels brings up Lance Cade’s past as a student of Shawn Michaels, which Cade nods his head to looking proud. Michaels then brings up Lance Cade’s bed wetting problem to embarrass Cade. HBK then says that he told “Garrison” Cade to make an impact, so why doesn’t he do it against Shawn Michaels for the World Tag Team Championship? Cade says that that is fine, but HBK needs a tag team partner. WEEEEEEEELLLL, well it’s the Big Show. Here comes Show who completely demolishes Cade & Murdoch. When he get back, the World Tag Team Championship is on the line.

-Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch retain the World Tag Team Championship via Double DQ when The Mexicools, Mistico & Super Porky run out and beat the crap through all four guys. They are all wearing shirts which say “RAW is Luchadore”.

-Kane pins Kurt Angle with the Chokeslam. This is pretty much a squash match, which is surprising. Cena was out to watch the match, wich Mathews, Coach and Venis bring up is extremely distracting. Kane then destroys Cena after the match. Edge runs down and Spears Kane and begins to beat the crap out of him. Edge keeps screaming “Why are you back?”, Kane then sits up and destroys Edge. Cena and Angle double-team Kane. Edge soon joins in. “Watchya going to do when we come for you?”, Rey Mysterio runs down and he and Kane clean house. Rey Mysterio then stands in the ring, standing confident across the ring from Kane, not afraid of being destroyed at all, almost relaxed. Kane then looks surprised at the un-intimidated Rey Mysterio, before Mysterio leaves the ring and goes to the back leaving Kane to stand tall.

Sittin' With Shawn? What happened to The Heartbreak Hotel?

Did he once have a segment? Fair enough, bring that back. Shawn Michaels has so much charisma he can do something, though.
