I was watching Raw and to be honest, I was disapointed. Isn't the whole point of Taboo Tuesday, that it's in the fans hands???

Well let's look at Raw.

HBK defeated Big Show & Kane: Well, that's obviously showing HBK is the beat and we have to vote for him, HBK is facing Cena next week also.

Ric Flair begged fans to make it a cage match: I wanted to make it a submission match, I wanted Flair to make HHH tap out to the leg lock, but it's obvious WWE want us to make it a cage match.

Rey Mysterio & JBL invade Raw: The WWE is most probably expecting us to vote or either Rey or JBL for their valiant effort.

Austin V.S. Coach: Let's look at the options, it's obvious it's going to be a street match.

---------------------------------------------------

Well WWE will just have to deal with my votes.

For the main event, I'm voting Kane, he deserves it more than HBK, and plus it'll make Vince go 'shit...'

I'm want a submission match, screw cage, I don't care how Ric Flair and WWE feels, it's the fans night.

I doubt anyone's going to vote in JBL, I'm voting for Rey, Hardy and Christian.

Austin V.S. Coach: I like to be defiant but the other options are just plain crap. It has to be a street fight.

----------------------------------------------------

Ok guys, I encourage you all to be defiant and go for what you want and not what WWE wants. goodluck. :y: :y:

to be fair, I have a hard time believing the matches will be affected by anybodys vote.

I'm sure the WWE will just deal with your votes

voting is rigged. Last year it really seemed up to us, this year they are putting MAJOR stock in the storylines and matches the WWE wants, so im having a hard time believing any vote will count. That being said, i say we all vote for a debate for the Austin v. Coach match.

Taboo Tuesday is just a way of making the fans think they have the power.

Also, it doesn't matter how many of you vote just to "stick it to Vince". For every one of you, there are about 50 marks, who will vote just how Vince wants them to.

This PPV is a joke. They let the fans choose and then put street fight with verbal debate and Arm Wrestle. What a Joke.

don't blame me, I'm voting for Kane, Christian & JBL, Submission, leather, and verbal debate (so no one interferes)

The same people who said that WWE doesn't even look at the fans votes are now trying to rally everyone together to make us vote the opposite way WWE wants us to...interesting.

And the whole not giving the fans a choice...well duh. If fans had complete choice we would be seeing Austin vs. Goldberg main eventing and Edge in a 5 on one handicap match...now where is the fun in that. The true test will be to see who is selected to face Carlito...is Dude wins I am sorry but it is totally rigged. Fans like Hardcore Cactus and Loveable Mankind...most marks don't give a flying fuck about Dude, ESPECIALLY since I am willing to bet about 80% of the WWE fans today wern't around to see Dude Love.

I bet for the coach/Austin match the results will be

1%-debate
1%-Arm wrestling
98%- street fight

to show some people voted either of the other two.

Its predictable alright. I mean is anyone really going to pay for this Pay Per View?

Im only watching it because its free on Sky!

I sent WWE some feedback yesterday because im pretty pissed at the choices, i have no interest in this Pay Per View unless Kane or Hbk make it into the main event and put on a good exciting main event. :y:

Other than that and maybe Flair Vs HHH, i couldn't give a shit what happens! :n:

At least last year IT FELT LIKE YOU HAD A CHOICE! :shifty:

another reason it's rigged.

not to mension there is no poll or anything, just a "thank you" screen which could be just a link they all go to.

I know the wwe have really convinced the fans to vote for JBL but I cant see anyone doing it. Not even the marks. He is not a heel in a “cool” way that can appeal to the casual and hardcore fans ala randy orton or carlito

A submission match is more entertaining than a cage match. Though since Flair told the fans to vote for cage, that's what we'll get.

Surely you can understand that they wouldn't show the poll results so far (if that is what you mean) - that is able to influence the voting. Even sites like the Official Formula 1 Website and the FIA use the very same system as the WWE has. You don't see poll results for PM/Presidential elections before voting closes, so why would this be any different?

(And the only other way I can think of that WWE.com can stop multiple votes would be using IP addresses. Even then it means that there could only be one vote per computer instead of user.)

By the way, the 'Thank you' page for all the polls is taboovote.wwe.com. Notice that if you go straight to there, you don't see a thank you - it is because you are required to actually submit information while coming from certain pages for it to work.

This isn't full proof that the voting is real, though. Just giving a late reply with my thoughts on this.

The reason they do Taboo Tuesday is because they want to see what the fans like. So if Kane gets the most votes, then they'll push him into the Title scene. So even if they put HBK in the Title match on Tuesday because he "got the most votes", they'll see that the fans like Kane and he'll probably be facing a heel champ soon.

Yeah, that was what the original point of my post was - I ended up just forgetting about it.:$

I think the voting was real because of my points listed previously - but most probably only to just see what the opinions of the fans are, even if they won't immediately be reacting to them.
