So, watched that thing on DTV PPV this month (or most of it).

Flair said Steamboat was the best worker, but not the best wrestler (or maybe it was the otherway) because Steamboat never worked Heel.

Since Steamboat, have there been any other long running major wrestlers that have only been face of heel?

Flair was heel for years.

Hulk Hogan was face for years as well during the 80's and early 90's before his NWO heel turn

Ask this in another Thread but I believe during his whole WWF/E and WCW Runs the Ultimate Warrior wasnt a heel, they said he was as the dingo warrior when he was teaming with Sting when he was getting started but looking for some clarification

I thought Steamboat was around after Santana? Cause he was one of my first thoughts.

Dibiase was face as the Steirner's manager. I think Blaze was heel in WCW as Madusa and was aligned with Macho Man when he had Gorgeous George and Molly Holly (forget the name she used, but it was her).

Martel was face when he tagged with Tito, ftr. I cant seen to remember but I believe Molly's name was Miss Mona in WCW. Not sure though.

Martel was a face when he wrestled in International Wrestling and the AWA.

Goldberg was a one week heel other than smark fans booing him.

Not sure if Bad News Brown (Allen) was ever a face.

Was Koko B. Ware or Hillbilly Jim ever a heel? I totally forget.

good work, think you found a few there, but I'll wait for someone with more wrestling knowledge then me to confirm that.

Although, I'm pretty sure Steamboat was still going around the same time or after Brown, Ware and Jim.

I can't seem to come up with anyone since him, or around that time.

It's the "change" wrestling has gone through.

I wonder who has flipped back/forth the most.

Jim workd heel in Memphis doing a gimmick like biker Taker

Koko worked heel in one of the NWA Territories. Forget which one

Allen worked babyface in Stampede for a short while.

Regarding flip/flops of heel/face I would think Luger has to be way up there. Kevin Nash as well.

Has Styles ever been heel? (Can't say I've seen that much of TNA to know)

I can't think of a time when Kerry Von Erich was heel. Might be wrong though.

Koko was also a heel in Memphis before he landed his WWE job. Can't think of many since Steamboat, although I'm pretty sure Rocky Johnson was never a heel (before Steamboat).

Styles has been heel a few times in TNA.

Martel was a face when teaming with Zenk and Santana in WWF as well.

Von Erich...?

Was the Iron Sheik ever a face?

How about Mr. Fuji?

I don't remember Kerry EVER being Heel, but it's not forget he spent most is career wrestling in his Dad's fed (his Dad who had a career as a Heel). Kerry's short stint in WWF or WWWF then? I don't remember him ever being Heel.

Only "Von Erich" Heel, besides Fritz I remember was I think they flipped "Cousin Lance" who wasn't actually related.

i dunno.

he did get a big pop during the gimmick battle royal...could thatt b counted as being a face?

also, i believe he did a whole "i love USA" thing for a while, ala Yokozuna

Loose Cannon

First, Jim wasn't with the Godwins when they went heel. That was Uncle Cletus.

Iron Shiek was a babyface when he first started in the AWA.

Fuji was definately a babyface during th end of Yoko's career with WWF. Not too sure with his wrestling career.

Orton was babyface in the Mid-Atlantic region early on

Kerry Von Erich worked Heel in Florida

Steamboat and Santana so far.

Also, Greg Gange was always a babyface, except for like one match, where he subbed in for a heel and thus was part of a heel tag team. So just add him
