View Full Version : FourFifty's thoughts on Raw (spoilers, d'uh)

For the most part I thought Raw pretty much sucked. When Goldust came out I was trying to figure out if it was really Goldust or Steve Austin dressed up as Goldust. As I've said in another thread I am a HUGE Goldust mark.... but last night was a little... m'eh. Oh, and when Vader came out... He let himself go, even for Vader.
As of the whole SCSA not showing up on Tuesday deal, just scope out Kane Knights thread on this, and replace Kane Knight with my name. I, for one, was looking forward to seeing Steve Austin beat The Coach so we can see JR come back, but since that wasn't even planned then I hope Chris Nowinski goes to the announce table.
...To come to think of it, is Chris Nonwski still employed by WWE?
I almost split my pants when I saw Xtian on TV, but it's a damn shame it might be the last time, with the whole "he quit" deal. If there's an update on that I haven't read it yet.
During the Diva Halloween segment I was busy bitching about how Charlie Hass and The Dudley Boyz are out of a job. If I wanted something to jerk it to I'd just log on and scope out some nice, friendly porn... Albeit the whole Mickie James thing left me laughing. "Why are you cheering for these people? You should be cheering for Trish!" Alas, the writers have their voice piece.
Seeing the Three Faces of Foley was quite nice, but a friend of mine pointed out that now it's an act for Mick Foley. Dude Love, Mankind, Cactus Jack, it doesn't matter any more because we all know it's Mick Foley. The disbelief is gone. If the fans can vote for it then we know it's an act, not Mick Foley's state of mind.
And to quote the biggest draw in the past 10 years...
And that's all I've got to say about that.

And one lone fan sat there, wondering "What the fuck?"

 ^^^
Well i have to say i felt embarassed for Vader, i mean jesus the guy was big before but he looks like he's had some of Cartmans weight gain 4000!
It must of been a spare of the moment thing to bring him in because he looked awful. He worked stiff but not only that the guy couldn't stand up without falling over or wobbling!
It was sad and hilarious at the same time..
I couldn't really care less about Stone Cold to be honest, he's had his time and its time for others to have theirs. The whole Batista vs Coachman thing is really confusing though, why not just have a friend of J'R's instead? Some legend from the past rather than just Batista. Why not Harley Race or someone like him?
Batista showing up is just fucking.. :-\ to me anyway.. thats the only way i can put it.
Vince said Smackdowns number 1 announcer and i was just waiting for "Misteeeeeeeeeeer KENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEDY" to come walking down the aisle, Why i thought that i dont know!
Overall the whole thing seemed thrown together for me, i mean i suppose it was a last minute thing but come on they could have done better than Batista. If your going to have Batista on the PPV why not have him fight a superstar? :wtf:
As for the halloween costume segment. Ashleigh
Its very rare that i take notice of diva's because im like you if i wanted porn id get it, it does nothing for me to be honest. But Ashleigh looked hot and you can tell by the size of her thong that she's had a brazilian!

Vader always works stiff.
Very true, but he basically beat the fuck out of Batista.
There's a difference between working stiff and doing what Vader did.
Batista didn't need to sell it much did he?
Vader reminded me of my grandad, well over 6 foot and weighing around 20 stone with a huge belly. Unless your fit your just going to lose your balance and fall over because of the pressure on your legs and back.
If he ever has a match anytime soon god help his opponent!

With Guys like Eugene, Masters, & Conway on the show how can it not suck. Plus it was Just one big cluster fuck nothing seemed to make sense. Honestly the only good things had to do with smackdown.
Flame me all you want for my hatred of guys like Conway & masters becuase all you stupid little bitches can go fuck your selves. You have your opinion I have mine.

ROFL 20 stone
I was referring to my grandad (not the war hero one) ;)
Vader must be about 50 stone i think!
Fubar Nick Dinsmore is a very talented wrestlers who's trapped in a shitty gimmick, believe me in time he could be the next Triple H in terms of wrestling skills and mic skills.
The real Nick Dinsmore is a biker. He's very charismatic and loves the business. I think in time once he becomes more like himself he'll go over big with the fans, at the moment though the whole retarded thing is getting old.

Sometimes, I wonder why some of you guys still watch RAW...you bitch and complain about how shit it is, and you keep watching it, no doubt with another "well, it pretty much sucked again" thread.
Of course, I'm not directed this at the majority.

I agree I just think the wwe lately needs help in the creative depart especially when it comes to characters & especially those on raw that is my main issue. Nick Dinsmore I have always said was talented but his gimmick i thought was interesting at first now it's just lame. Masters is another story I prefer guys who aren't just big guys but they can actually wrestle (see lashly). The their are others like conway who's gimmick I hated the minute I saw it. I just know the wwe can do a better job look at a lot of newer (& newer to the wwe guys) on smackdown lately.
