I bought the Jake DVD today. ( I was looking for WM Anthology but sold out at every store) Great DVD. The man has been through a lot in his life. The 2nd best documentary after Rise and Fall. Here are some interesting things.

Wore curtians as T-shirts.

His sister was kidnapped and murdered (but havent recovered the body).

He almost went to WWF in 84, but ripped the contract in Vince's face.

He didnt have no desire to win any titles (he said it would have been a honor plus more money but didnt want no title)

He talked about the HTM guitar incident (the guitar was switched and the one HTM hit him with was thicker)

was going to have a big program with Warrior but Warrior held up the company.

Wanted Pat Pattersons booking job in 92 but Vince told him no. Jake told him he would not face Taker at WM if he would not let him go to WCW.

Went from over 3 million in WWF to 200,000 in WCW

His wife made him retire for a while during WCW.

Lawler feud he took personal as Lawler made fun of a serious situation that many people go through in alcholism (Lawler apoligzed for it and said he liked the feud with Jake)

His wife left him in the middle of his booking job with the WWF in 96 and he turned back to whiskey and drugs

For 2 years he said he wrestled altered.

He said he didnt like the ECW product but he agreed to work for them.

He said he didnt think his wife had an affair with Rude, but he had heard the rumors.

He was so mad that Vince made trunks with his wife's image he said he was going to tear it apart and he stripped Rude down naked.

Most of the matches were pretty good. (half were short matches however)

Must see matches on DVD

1. vs Rick Rude (Rude Awakening vs DDT match
2. vs Rick Steamboat Snake Pit match
3. vs Ron Garvin TV Title Georgia Championship Wrestling
4. vs Sting (except for the plastic snake part)
5. vs HTM

The promos are great.
No Jesse Ventura Commentary in the WM 3 and HH 92 matches but you can have Gorilla and JR's original commentary or Jake and J.R. doing commentary

Overall Rating 8.5/10

Theres an error in the packaging as it says that the DVD is 8.5 Hours on the box and then on the back on the DVD it says it is 6 hrs long. It also says their is 10 complete matches but there is 12. (I guess they dont consider Earthquake a match, but I wouldnt either.) They should have put Savage from Tuesday in Texas on there instead of that.

NOTE: FYE scrapped their 2.5 extra exclusive disc, and it is replaced with an 80 page mini book with excerpts from Blassie and Lawlers book and a preview of the not yet relased Superstar Graham book.
