Copromotional storylines

I was thinking about this the other day. On TNA two weeks ago Alex Shelley was tagging with Roderick Strong. Now in ROH they're in a bitter feud with the whole gen next vs. the embassy. As a fan who watches both products this did make little sense to me but I realize since it's different companies then it's alright to do it as long as no reference is made to the other company. Then it hit me how awesome would it be if during the match Shelley attacked Strong and brought the feud to TNA. So basically what i'm trying to get at is do you ever think there will be possibilities of a storyline that involves two wrestling promotions and how would you book it?

WWF and USWA used to do these all the time. The face in WWF usually played heel in USWA,, Like Razor when he feuded with Lawler down there.

Between TNA and ROH? No chance now, because TNA needs as much exposure as poss and showing people another fed isn't going to help.

However the CM Punk/Raven feud went all the the place, this was before TNA hit the hieghts it had now and smaller promotions used the feud as a draw, I think ROH started it, but many bookers brought them both in the feud off the sucess of the initial matches they had in ROH

Actually in a radio interview Nigel Mcguiness hinted that he was signed To TNA and one of the main reasons was to attempt to start an TNA vs. ROH angle. IT will be intresting to see if this is indeed true and if so how it turns out.
