WWE Survivor Series
Presented by RAW & SD!
WWE Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle vs. John Cena
- Kurt Angle finally takes the title off Cena and hopefully a new star can be built by WrestleMania... I was hoping Shelton, but he's being buried, and I was hoping Jericho or Christian, but they are either inactive or have quit... Either way, Angle as champion is the first step...
WWE United States Championship
Booker T vs. Chris Benoit
- Why not let them have another match... If you are pushing Booker, you need to push him in a feud against someone who has won the World title, and the best way to do this is on PPV... I don't mind either guy winning depending on what is being planned with long-term booking...
WWE Intercontinental Championship - Last Man Standing Match
Ric Flair vs. Triple H
- Triple H wins the title in a bloody battle lasting about 20 minutes after multiple sledgehammer shots... Let Triple H destroy some midcarders for a while as IC champion while Angle could have legitimately fresh main event programs with other talent such as the returning RVD and Kane...
WWE Tag-Team Championship - Elimination
MNM vs. LOD vs. Dicks/Tolands vs. Burchill/Regal vs. Mexicools vs. Nunzio/Vito
- Give the gold to the Mexicools or Burchill/Regal in this one... Keep having matches showcasing lots of different tag-teams that can actually be built up into reforming a tag-team division on SmackDown! LOD is stale, but still nice to have for quick squash matches on SD! simply reminiscent of the LOD heritage... I don't mind keeping them around... The Dicks/Tolands are supposedly good so let them develop as a legitimate team... MNM has become a pretty good team, but have failed to put on any extremely outstanding matches... Mexicools are very over and a great team to push right now as Juventud carries the cruiserweights on Velocity... Nunzio/Vito can also be showcased as a permanent FBI team... Both have chemistry and can work, however they need a push... Burchill/Regal simply equals awesomeness... The teams aren't bad; they simply need more exposure to be recognized...
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Juventud vs. Kid Kash
- Juventud is a complete face at this point, so push him... Instead of always have cluster cruiserweight matches involving nothing talent like Scotty 2 Hotty, it's better to simply focus on one opponent and give them 2 weeks or so to build some kind of feud... It's not that hard, even TNA can do it...
5-on-5 Interbrand Survivor Series Match
RAW (Shawn Michaels, Kane, Big Show, Edge & Chris Masters) vs. SMACKDOWN! (Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, JBL & Ken Kennedy)
- Definitely put SmackDown! over here since their World champion is being showcased... Ken Kennedy gets eliminated first by Big Show... Batista proceeds to take out both Edge and Masters... Kane takes out Rey Mysterio... This leaves HBK, Show and Kane against Batista, Eddie and JBL... HBK superkicks Eddie to take him out... JBL hits his clothesline taking out Show... HBK sidetracks JBL and superkicks him too to take him out... This leaves Batista against Kane and HBK... Batista manages to overpower Kane and powerbomb him away but he gets superkicked and it looks like HBK is going to get the win, however Eddie comes from behind to sneak a shot in on HBK allowing Batista to powerbomb him as SmackDown! reigns supreme...
4-on-4 Interbrand Survivor Series Divas Match
Trish, Mickie James, Victoria, Candice or Torrie vs. Christy, Stacy, Melina and Jillian
- Put RAW over obviously... I'd prefer no divas match and none of this garbage, but you know they'll put something time consuming on there, so why not make it a match showcasing both brands...
4-on-4 Interbrand Survivor Series Match
Randy Orton, Bob Orton, Rob Conway & Carlito vs. Roddy Piper, Mick Foley, Jimmy Snuka & Jim Duggan
- Have Taker return and chase away the Ortons leaving Conway and Carlito to get beat up by the legends... It's a good way to get all these random legend programs together on PPV in one exciting interbrand type thing...
HEAT
Shelton Benjamin, Eugene, Tajiri & Rosey vs. Matt Striker, Nick Nemeth, Kerwin White & Gregory Helms
- Completely useless stuff really... Push Benjamin and give him TV time because he's one of the top 5 workers on RAW... Give Eugene a complete makeover and take this character off TV... Tajiri and Gregory Helms desperately need to be showcased on SmackDown! in the cruiserweight division... Rosey should be released, no doubt about it... Matt Striker should be given some more TV exposure to expand the character and build something interesting... Kerwin White and Nick Nemeth need to be pushed as a legitimate team or something... There is no valid reason to let Chavo bury away as an Internet-HEAT character...
Other random thougts on talent:
Gene Snitsky - turn him face and give him some kind of interesting tag-team partner... Tomko is better than nothing right now, but in the future he should turn face and do some kind of face thing with Heidenreich...
Venis/Viscera - release Vis, even if he is bringing in supposed ratings, and give Val another push before you continue to let him rot away... He's a very solid worker...
Goldust/Vader - keep Vader as a supplement legend talent to showcase every now and then... Goldust, however, you can keep him around and give him a decent midcard run... If I remember anything from his last WWE stint, he was pretty good and has some interesting feuds...
Johnny Parisi - he's not bad, I just don't see the point of signing a veteran-like talent like him and letting him job on an Internet show and not show his true abilities... You might as well use local jobbers for that...
Danny Basham - I was interested in seeing the new Damaja character from OVW, but I guess he's back there simply training... If this was planned, there was absolutely no reason to break up the Bashams, who were a pretty solid team...
Rene Dupree - He's pretty talented actually... He deserves a solid midcard push and I wouldn't mind seeing him as IC champion down the road... You can't simply give him a few wins on HEAT online and then have him be inactive for several weeks and then bring him back... He'll never get over that way...
Heart Throbs - Whatever, I don't mind having a jobber-like tag-team around to put over some of the more over talent... They're pretty funny and put on decent matches...
Cade/Murdoch - I thought there was going to be some kind of tag-team wrestling rejuvination with this guys, but they just jobbed to Kane and Big Show and will now be buried on online HEAT... With the contrast in SD! and RAW booking, the minor one at that, the tag division on SD! seems to have more potential down the road...
Matt Hardy - Could definitely be a solid US title contender against guys like Benoit, Rey and Booker...
Holly - Now here's a guy who's perfect for Velocity online, but yet he randomly gets SmackDown! TV time instead of cruiserweight title matches... I don't mind keeping this veteran slug around though, he's all right to me... His matches aren't half bad, depending on the opponent of course...
Lashley - Push this guy... Make him a legitimate midcard title contender and give him a Samoa Joe-like push to get over... He's been pretty good from what I've seen...
Orlando Jordan - Inevitably, the best thing to do would be to keep him as a Virgil-like jobber or to release him... He's no entertaining superstar and he's no championship material...
Doug Basham - Much like Danny Basham, another talented superstar, who start to wonder if he's still employed by World Wrestling Entertainment...
Sylvan - I don't mind a Rick Martel character around, but much like gimmicks like Simon Dean and Steven Richards, I don't see it amounting to anything particularly successful...
Boogeyman - I like it because it cracks me up, but that is all I have to say for now...
Palmer Cannon - Is this guy going to wrestle eventually or what... What has he been training for?
Cruiserweights - Aside from obvious things like jobbing off Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty, I fail to realize why Spanky, Noble (where is he), London and such are being buried and the way-over Mexicools are also being randomly showcased in Velocity matches available only online... :wtf:
Jericho - What's the deal with him anyways?
Disappearances of Hassan & Christian - Have killed SmackDown! and have been major losses to WWE, especially if they show up in TNA... Haas would have been another good talent to keep around...
CM Punk - Don't destroy his legacy when you bring him in...
Women's matches and wrestling - Who cares? Scrap it permanently aside from the occasional cat fight like in ECW... It was cool when there was actually competition like Luna, Jacquline, Ivory, Molly, Gail Kim, etc etc etc... Now, I don't see the point of watching Divas Search winners and Trish Stratus or Stacy Kiebler put on random matches...
Lita - Fire her custy ass...
