Obivously Mick Foley should be added to this bunch.
Also, HHH has changed a lot, and so has Kane and Bigshow and Hogan.

Taker's character (from the 2nd pic) was one sick dude.
how about Mach Man from the different eras?
Yeh, I was gonna say, anybody want to mention Austin, Rock or Hogan?

When Austin got famous, he pretty much stayed the same, and the same goes for Rock.
I already mentioned Hogan.

Yeah, Austin only really had two differnet looks: Stunning Steve & Ringmaster/Stone Cold.

Yeah, and Stunning Steve wasn't popular, there for it doesn't count towards this discussion.

From snobby blueblood to the lead singer of Motorhead? That's not a change?
Undertaker went from a ghoul to a redneck, then died again..
Sting was a happy surfer "YEAH DUDE!" type of a guy to a "...." type of guy.
Those aren't drastic?

Um, not to ruffle feathers, but I think the point of this thread was they were popular in one form then were completely repackaged. The first 2 picture of Raven was before he was famous/popular, so they don't count. The 4th and the 5th, he was kind of a hasbeen at the point and the repackaging didn't work, therefore those don't count. Which leaves us with the 3rd and the 6th pictures where he is pretty much playing the exact same character, really didn't update his waredrobe. So, I don't think Raisin counts for this, sorry.:-\
Cool King

Well Raven went from some bright and happy guy to a snob/rich guy to a Hardcore Maniac to a loner to a weirdo then back to a Hardcore Maniac.
But I guess you are right, Raven wasn't popular when he was Scotty Flamingo.

Triple H always felt like he was better than everyone else and was somewhat stuck up for one reason or another at like all times.
Undertaker was always the "Dead Man" and had many of the same characteristics, down to dark clothing and the facial hair.
Sting always had the face paint.

Just because one or two things stayed the same doesn't mean they didn't have a completely different character. By your reasoning, if Triple H turned into a clown next week but still kept his sledgehammer, he'd be the same.

when farooq first showed up on wwf, jim ross was interviewing him. it went something like:
farooq: i'm farooq ashad...
j.r.: you're ron simmons
farooq: don't ever call me that again
i don't remember the exact words, but it was close to that, and i was

He wouldn't have completely changed, even in that instance, but I find that to be a pretty big exaggeration on some of the things I was pointing out.

Well, of course no wrestler is going to be COMPLETELY changed. I think the title of the thread shouldn't be taken so literally, because then no wrestler EVER would have changed, because if they have the same voice, then they're not changed. Same for skin color, etc.

Jockstrap by Tomahawk
Jockstrap. You rap.
G-string. I sing.
Jockstrap. You rap.
G-string. I sing.
Step right up, place your bet
Steeplechase, notice me
I need skin for dancin' in
You're riding on the tail of a son of a bitch
High in the saddle
Make my backbone itch
And my tongue will train ya
Like a lash from a whip
I'm here, take a bow
And my tongue will feed ya
Like a lash from a whip
And i'll give you cuts
I won't need you to spit
And if you can't touch my cradle
How do you win?
Because baby, no one's shamed particularly
I dont beat you
But you can stop spreading horse shit
'Cause I'm here to take your fall
I need skin for dancin' in
I know, stop me
Send in the show
I came sharp, clean, smoking
I need you to
Watch me, watch them, watch the future
'Cause I won't hold your pan for you
I pull (teeth?), pull with your might
I'm back, push that geezer for me
Can't you
Can't you level with him?
Catch me
Behind the scene
Hello, you're nice
Better delays
To laugh the days
Know what?
You're riding on the tail of a son of a bitch
High in the saddle
I've got the hard-on itch
And I'll buck you off my trailor hitch
And I'll break your fall
Jockstrap. You rap.

High in the saddle

A lot of you are stupid. A lot of the wrestlers were never popular. Vis was never really popular. JBL wasn't popular when he was Justin Hawk Bradshaw. LOD have been the exact same their whole career. Justin Credible wasn't even close to being popular as whatever the hell we was in his early WWF days.
