Orton/Eddie/Tista.

Mark my words right now, Orton wins the title. Then Orton finds out that he will defend the title at Survivor Series against Taker.

That's my prediction and here's why it will happen.

Raw is being pegged as the superior brand. That's why there's no chance in hell that SD can appear at the ppv without a title defense. Tista's obviously going out with the Lat injury, and Guererro will be the new leader for SD. Kennedy will replace Tista.

Which leaves Orton. Unless they are hell bent on turning Eddie again (which according to the rumors they aren't) they need to put the belt on him. I know he's not ready to be champ again according to all the critics. But the belt needs to go on the #1 heel on SD that can cut a promo. I'm going to emphasize that right now, cut a promo. Orton stands to be the superior. In fact, I just thought of another thing. Orton was "put out of action" due to Batista "injuring" his shoulder. Orton could do a move that "injures" Batista's back and puts him out of action

In concluison, THE BELT NEEDS TO GO ONTO RANDY ORTON.

I think there are a lot of possibilities, and that being one of them. I could also see Eddie pinning Orton for the title, Batista leaving, coming back in a few months, and Eddie is still champ. Then, they continue the "friendship angle" and Batista will turn on Eddie. Or, I could see Orton pinning Eddie for the belt, and Batista being upset because Eddie lost his belt for him. It'll be really interesting to see what happens

I like Splaya's idea

But it sounds too good for WWE to come up with something like that

And I doubt we will get to see a huge title change on free TV

It better go to Eddie. Orton is so fucking unready for championshp, it kills me.

I see Orton going winning the match for some reason. The WWE champion isn't on the RAW team, so the World champion shouldn't be on the SmackDown! team... They'll probably make Orton/Taker a title match.

I don't think so as much anymore. When they first gave him the belt, yes. It was WAAAYYY too soon then. I think it's around that time now though that he would make a damned good champion.

When was the last time the WWE championship changed hands on either Raw or Smackdown?

The last time the WWE Championship (currently held by John Cena) changed hands on a non-PPV event was when Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle in a 60-minute Iron Man Match on SmackDown which aired on September 18, 2003 (taped Sept. 16).

The World Heavyweight Championship...never changed hands on a RAW or SmackDown, though the belt was awarded to HHH on RAW on September 2, 2002.

They better just cancel it now.... what can they do with it? It just have Batista drop it and make SD a tribute show
