Batista has to defend his title next week, and its most probably likely he'll just stand around while Eddie & Orton fight, but will he be able to wrestle at all, will he be able to walk without crutches? I ask because I want one last backstage segment with Eddie & Batista, they ruled.

Anyone know how Batista will be?

I read Blackjack Brown's column in the Chicago Sun-Times today. He said he expects Batista to forfeit the title next Thursday night. Ugh, I think someone forgot to tell him that Smackdown is on Fridays now.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, he's usually wrong about everything.

I don't know what's wrong with Batista nd whether he'll be able to walk fine or not, all I know is they had to carry him out after SD.

Probably have to take bump that will keep him out of 90% of the match.

Batista injury update
November 9, 2005

World Heavyweight (http://www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/worldheavyweight/) Champion Batista (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/batista/) injured his back at the SmackDown (http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/) television taping Tuesday night in Indianapolis.
Earlier today, Batista traveled to Birmingham, Ala., to be seen by Dr. James Andrews. While meeting with Dr. Andrews, The Animal was informed that he had a decision to make concerning the treatment of the injury. He could either rehab his back, or opt for surgery. If he decides to go with the surgery, Batista could be out of action for as long as three months.
Following SmackDown this past Friday night, Batista stated that he will be leading the SmachDown Superstars to RAW (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/) this Monday regardless if he is injured or not. Click here (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/preview/) for RAW preview.
Batista plans on making his decision by the weekend.
