Not much a primetime TV watcher, but "My Name is Earl" is pretty funny. About a guy who is pretty much a bumb, and tired of bad things happening to him. So he makes a list of all the bad things he's done in his life and wants to fix them, hoping that karma will bring some good to his life.

One episode he fixed a golfer to get a hole in one each week, so the guy would buy free beer for everyone, in another he faked his own death so he wouldn't have to break up with his then g/f.

On Tuesday nights on NBC, but they had a two hour special last night. I highly suggest this one.

Great show. That and The Office make a great hour of comedy. Followed by Nip/Tuck at 10. I love Tuesdays.

I watched that marathon, I hadn't seen the show before but I have always liked Jason Lee. I thought the show was really good, I'll try to watch it more often.

"Hey, Crab Man" is the best catchphrase of the new season.

downloaded the first 7 episodes...watched the First, second, 7th and about to watch the third one now...

Pretty sweet show.

How many episodes did they do for the first season (if it's over yet)

It only started in september. Not sure how many episodes they've done, seven sounds about right. Was the last episode you saw his ex-wife's wedding, cause that was the last episode aired.

yeah it was. I got ahold of an 8th episode though.

LOL at the pilot episode when they find out the guy is gay and do a Peter Griffin "slow backward walk towards the door" maneuver.Just brilliant.

The trailers have started for this on Channel 4 and it starts in a few weeks so I'm guessing it's been on in the states for a while and it looks frickin' sweet, mainly due to the fact that the beyond awesome Jason Lee is the star.

Any good or will I be let down?

It's excellent.

In fact, it's so excellent that there's already a thread for it. ;)

Other than "Corner Gas" which is a Canadian show most of you do not know, Earl is the only comedy on tv I make of point of seeing.

CSL, definitely give this show a try when it becomes available.

Totally agree with Boondock. Crabman is the best.
