I'm not too proud to admit that I have been crying for a better part of the night. Eddie meant a lot to me (because, like I said, his story helped me out of a very dark time in my life). Thank you so much Eddie. Bless your heart, and God rest your soul.

Good matches tonight.

HBK/Rey was excellent

Angle/Shelton put on another clinic

Flair/Regal was excellent.

Only real shady finish was Daddy's Boy/Cena. Should have went with Benoit/H.

Also, weird seeing Rey take off his mask. Didn't show his face, but did show his bald spot. :shifty:

The Tag match was good for what it was, and the Diva crap I could have lived without.

Steph definitely redeemed herself after her last emotional speech. I don't cry, at all. I almost did when Benoit, Dave, Chavito and Rey did.

My sig says it all, ya'll.

Disturbed316
11-14-2005, 11:26 PM
My satelite craped out just before the show started so I missed the first five minutes

Overall, I think the show was done very well. The tributes by the wrestlers brought tears to my eyes, so much emotion was just pouring out that there is no way you couldn't share it with them.

Considering the circumstances I thought some of the matches were good, despite what people say, Simon Dean vs Eugene was the light hearted part that we need. I probably enjoyed HBK vs Rey Rey the most.

Hopefully the Smackdown show will be as good as this one.

Right when I saw Angle really losing it when the fans started chanting for Eddie is when it really, really hit me full force that he's gone. He's never coming back. Batista's words put me in tears, as did Hunter's, Rey's and Benoit's. Say what you will about guys like Hunter and Cena, they were both two class acts tonight.

This was a rough show to watch for me. I know Eddie is gone, but I don't think it will really hit me that hard until Survivor Series. I got my tickets for that, and aside from that he had already been announced to be on the show, is really gonna hurt. But seeing all of these other WWE superstars, mainly Benoit, break down while talking about Eddie was really tough.

I did tape the show, and plan on taping SmackDown on the same tape, but this will only be one to watch on rare occasions.

My one complaint about the show, would be the DQ main event finish. A tribute show should not have outside interference. But I do think that Cena's contribution at the end did make up for it. R.I.P. Eddie, we will love you forever.

I think the DQ ending made sense as props to Eddie. Cowboy Bob runs in to save his son and then double team on Cena just set it up for the face to overcome the odds. Something Eddie would of done. So I didn't mind the ending, having the face win that way and all.

In the end. After all is said and done. I'm sure that Eddie is smiling.

Lara Emily
11-15-2005, 01:06 AM
So I take it they just take time to archive all the unlimited things because some of the ones mentioned in the thread aren't there, namely Shelton talking and the Guerrero/Kennedy match

Yeah I think that's the case things are showing up now

The Tribute video they played with Cash's song really got me bawling like a little girl. I have shed tears because of the tribute videos for wrestlers that have died in the past, but I have never ever actually cried at a tribute video.

It was a great tribute show, and it really got me sad when Benoit was talking, but I started to cry a little again when Benoit broke down. I'm gonna watch the Unlimited Videos soon.

All the matches were great, and The Eugene/Dean match was for the kids, just to cheer them up.

But if you didn't notice the marks or respect that the wrestlers wore (Like the EG Band) then I noticed them and I'll post them here.

Regal had black wrist tape and a black knee pad support. (Usually they are white)

Flair was wearing his black trunks, but he was still wearing his red boots and knee pads.

Otron was wearing his black attire and his dad was wearing his black hat.

Kurt was wearing his black attire.

The divas wear all wearing "I'm your Papi!" Shirts.

Everyone else had the EG Bands and/or the "I'm your Papi!" shirts.

The people I noticed that didn't wear anything black, was Eugene and Simon Dean. (Possibly because if the kids saw them wearing black, it would remind them of Eddie, and they would start crying)

Shelton also didn't have anything black on him.

I want to watch SmackDown! but I don't get it.:(

So if someone can post The RAW and SmackDown! shows, then I know that everyone will rep your ass.

I can now sadly say that I have accepted that Eddie is gone and he's never coming back.:(

R.I.P Eddie.
You're in a far better place now, and you'll always be looking down on the squared circle with your memorable smile on your face.

Please, someone post the show. I had set up my VCR to record it with a new tape. I went to watch the tape this morning and it was nothing but static. I did not watch the show when it was on because I was relying on the tape so I could watch it when I wanted/needed to. I'm so pissed at myself right now for not watching it when I had the chance. I will rep whoever can post a good quality version of the show until the end of my days.

Just watched the show, and I bawled my eyes out on numerous occasions throughout. That's the first time I've cried for years, I mean, I'm a pretty young fan, and when legends and so on die it doesn't effect me as much because I never grew up with them and I never had the chance to admire them. But Eddie was different for me. This tape's definately a keeper.

Overall I think the Raw show was better than Smackdown's, although Smackdown probably had the better matches.

It was a very good show indeed.

CHAVO IS BACK!!!

All he needs to do is get rid of the blonde hair(if he can) anf it'll be like Kerwin White never existed.

What I meant was that he "allowed" Benoit to get the win as a sign of respect for the friendship Benoit and Eddie had. Also, the seemingly heart-felt embrace was touching.
