View Full Version : Will WWE send any Raw superstars to Smackdown?

I don't want to sound disrespectful, but Eddie Guerrero(RIP) was the greatest wrestler of all time, and in my opinion, Smackdown was Eddie Guerrero. Eddie will never be replaced, but Smackdown is left with a huge void. Eddie has passed away, Batista's injured, Benoit may leave WWE. The list of huge faces is running slim.

Raw is overloaded with star talent. Do you think that Raw may send some of Raw's great superstars (Shawn Michaels?) over to Smackdown, to try and fill the void, obviously no one can replace Eddie, but Smackdown needs a hero at the moment.

I would like to see these Raw superstars sent to Smackdown:
Chavo Guerrero.
Shawn Michaels.
Carlito(nothing for him on Raw)

Does anyone agree with me?

Yeah, send Shawn over, he would be great against all the cruiser wieghts, and maybe Sugar Shane Helms.

But not Chavo. For Chavo, they should give him a push on Raw.

But that is just my opinion.

Raw's laden with talent? No kidding. I'm surprised there was any starpower on SD! to begin with.

Maybe add a stip that whoever wins the Long vs Bischoff or Raw vs Smackdown match can raid the other shows roster and steal 1 or 2 wrestlers of their choice.

Hey, ummm...Eddie wasn't the best. He was great, but let's not pretend that suddenly, Eddie's the greatest wrestler ever. I'd take Angle and Michals over him easily, and you have to consider how much I hate Christians factoring into Michaels (Who defaces his religion on his own gear) on that list.

I always considered Eddie the best even before he died.

CharismaInjection's Top 5:
1. Eddie Guerrero.
2. Kurt Angle.
3. Shawn Michaels.
4. Triple H.
5. Chris Benoit.

I dont consider him the best wrestler but as an overall performer he comes in my top three easily. As a wrestler once again top three but not the best.

You know, I've never really ranked him, I don't think. And I'm not going to jump on a sympathy band wagon and say he was the best thing ever, Angle still is, then Micheals, then Jericho then a bunch of other people I never assigned rank to and I'm not sure where Eddie fits in.

Yes, I know. Y'all were all loyal Eddie followers for life, and he was the best in your eyes. I'm not gonna bother arguing, because you were all devout fucking followers.

I agree with KK, Eddie to me was amazing. But he was probably third on my list. Kurt, then Shawn, then Eddie. I will however say that from a just pick up and watch standpoint, Eddie was my favorite current worker.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chavo takes Eddie's spot on the survivour series roster. Although this would mean the end of Kerwin White :(

With the current storyline of Edge hating RAW or whatever, it wouldn't surprise me if they came up with a way for Edge to become a SD superstar.

One way to look at it (and this is not how I necessarily see it) is that you really can't/shouldn't send anyone over if you look at it in the "no one can replace Eddie Guerrero" way.

Fuck Kerwin White, it was dumb to begin with. Let Chavo be Chavo. Chavo as Chavo = money.

Plus there is the fact that Chavo never wanted to be Kerwin.

Seriously people. Now I LOVED Eddie Guerrero. Hell as far as performers that I thought were incredible, he surely was up there. But now that Eddie has tragically left us he suddenly has become everyone's all time favorite? Can we not say that he as a person was incredible and we all feel a great lose from his passing...no need to make his death bigger then it was.

OoOoOoOoOo CHAVO = Gold
Kerwin = Poo colored

the problem is there is only 1 year left on the upn contract and i don't see them resigning so smackdown is pretty much dead.

For the record...Flair, Jericho, Triple H, Gunn, and Angle make up my top five...no idea what the exact ranking is...just they are my top five.

Hey, I'm a Peep. Those were my top five in 'Wrestling' Abilities.

Christian is my favourite because of his mic. skills, not wrestling ability.

Eddie was never my favorite wrestler or really top five wrestlers really. In any era. But the one thing about Guerrero that I'll always look back on is that no matter what, you knew you were going to get a classic match with him. You knew he wouldn't dissapoint. Like if I ordered the Rumble and it had Guerrero on there, I would always be like, "ok, the Rumble match is going to be great and Guerrero's on the card, so that should be great too." He along with Benoit, Angle, HBK, all have that effect, even though I'm not a mark for 3 of them (I am for Benoit)

I can honestly say that I considered Eddie the best overall in the company before he died. I think I detailed this like last year or early this year in a post that talked about how he was a true five star caliber person who could do everything extremely well.

Angle was #2 on my list, just behind Eddie. Kurt is the better pure wrestler, but I think in terms of overall, Eddie was better, because he had great mic work and charisma, he could make you despise him as a heel and adore him as a face, and he could wrestle in any variety of styles and do it well, from luchador to grappling to physical striking to hardcore style.

Best ever? That's always debatable. He's up there though. Honestly.

Of course, when you get into these debates, opinions factor in heavily. It's pretty much impossible to come up with the definite list of the bests.

I can say without lying that he certainly was the best guy on smackdown. Batista/Orton/Taker/Benoit being in the same league. IMO (the past few weeks) Eddie was the best performer smackdown had.

True...and honestly SmackDown's fued of the year goes out to Guerrero/Mysterio...Eddie promo where he didn't even talk was just jaw dropping good. Ironically the second best fued on SmackDown over the past year also goes to Guererro and Tista. Benoit & Christian really hadn't done much of note worthness since arriving on SmackDown, and Angle was not doing great before the switch to RAW. For the past year Guerrero has been without doubt the best thing on SmackDown...that much is true.
