Shadow of the Colossus?

Has anyone played this game? I've seen a few clips of the game. It looks pretty sweet. for those who have played it: Pros and cons please.

My best friends younger brother has the game, so this isn't from personal exp.

Very cool, very fun game. The idea that you're only fighting bosses sounds like it'll get old very quickly, but this games has a lot to offer with each boss being so different.
The biggest letdown is getting to the bosses. The lack of weapons in the game is a smaller let down.

This is one you want to rent before you buy.

Shadow Of The Collosus is one of the most beautiful, amazing, entertaining and fun games I've ever played in my life. Fighting these epic titans is pure perfection. One minute, you're climbing up the wing of a flying titan, then you're hanging onto one that's thrashing under water, trying to hang on. It's amazing.

I cannot believe this game is only worthy of like 3 posts. What the fuck. This might be the most original game I've played, ever. It is so magnificently simple that it is just flat out entertaining, full stop. I just stopped about halfway through and I am loving every minute.

Seriously, if you don't want to spend the cash, at LEAST rent this. I don't remember a game like it, ever.

I'm so pissed off with this game at the moment. On the 14th collossi at the mo and it's doing my head in. It's really unfair how the loading times between the second cutscene really fucks up your possition so the collossi can come over and just completly crush you again and again because you cant get up quick enough.

Also, Argo is a fag, he made me go insane because of his retarded riding along side the 13th collossi :mad:

Ya 14 is a little bit hit and miss :$ I won't post how to avoid in case you already have an idea what to do or don't want to know. It's all gravy after 14 though, chin up young man.

I managed to make it once over to the other side and up onto the platform, only for the bugger to bring down the whole platform which caused me to fly over the other side of the room, which left me totally unprotected and down.

The collossi then came over and raped me with his tusks and I went insane :mad:

Thats is just retarded. Yesterday afternoon I spent about almost 2 hours trying to beat colossi 14, then last night I did it in 10 minutes :rant:

Stayed up till about 2am this morning finishing this game off, that bastard at the end is one tough cookie. It was mainly me falling off that caused the long time.

The ending threw me a little. The interactive parts with the reformed demon and with your own soul took me by suprise, probably took away the emotional aspect of the ending that everyone was going on about.

Still, it was a very moving ending and probably one of the best I've seen in along time :(

I didn't know that you could increase your grip and health meters by eating the different kind of lizzards running around. If I knew that before, then I probably wouldn't have struggled on some parts :mad:

^^^Same thing happened to me. Going into the Colossus 16 I figured that out. So It spent some time leveling up my shit just to encounter the easiest boss in the game.
