I was fortunate enough to attend the above show Friday night, so I thought I'd be kind enough to share what went down with you guys, as I enjoy reading your site.

Obviously there were fewer matches than expected due to Eddies passing, which is understandable - RIP Holmz!

Lilian came out wearing a rather hot Union Jack bra and got some cheap pops about Birmingham in, before introducing the RAW GM, Mr Bischoff. Good amount of heat here, until he started talking about Eddie, which started the Eddie chant going. A 10 bell slaute then took place, perfectly observed, before Bischoff just pointed the mic to the crowd and got the chant going again.

First up was Masters vs Tajiri. Masters entrance is kinda cool, and he looks good, but then he starts to wrestle...oh dear. Decent pop for Taj, MAJOR heat for Masters (shouts of 'who are ya?'). Tajiri took the piss out of Masters by posing, which was funny. Surprising amount of kicking offense from Taj, lots of rest holds from Masters. Good finish tho, with Masters reversing the tarantula straight into the Masterlock for the win.

Next was Val and Vis vs Cade and Murdoch. 'You've got man boobs' chant for Murdoch was a good one. Val gave his towel to a fan. Murdoch took it back. Val gave it back again. Funny. Pretty much your bog standard tag match, nothing more (I do think its a good thing to do- teaming up mid carders as proper teams, it does improve the division and gets the talent a bit more over). Finish with money shot/Viscera splash combo on Murdoch for the pin. Good 'la la la la' chant to get rid of the heels.

Next was a Diva tag match- Victoria and Candice vs Maria and Ashley. I REALLY dont give a toss about womens wrestling when its this crap. Pretty much all I need to say (I did watch it though, as Victoria is just f'n HOT!!) And she can wrestle. Cant expect her to carry a tag match on her own. She did hit a wicked looking Widows Peak on Maria for the win though. Would have been better to see Vic vs Trish, as have seen them wrestle before and they can go.

Triple threat time!! Shelton vs Conway vs Nemeth. Big pop for Shelton, big heat for the others. Beat down on Shelton until Conway turned on Nemeth and hit his finisher (dont know the name). Shelton then fired off a lot of good offense and hit the T bone for the win. Spent a lot of time with crowd after the match- he's VERY over in the UK- reminds me of how D-Lo Brown was a few years ago, as he doesn't appear to be that over in the US.

Intermission. Usual plugs for merchandise and dates for April 2006 UK tour. Lilian threw t shirts to crowd. Throws like a man.

IC title match time!! Carlito got a mix of pops and heat, and then Flair!! MASSIVE pops and whooooooos!! he can't wrestle like he used to, but fans love him anyway- me included. Comedy type match, Carlito mimicked Flair quite a bit, including so NEARLY making him tap with the figure 4 (Yeah right, like that will happen at a UK house show!) Carlito nailed the apple spit, but then Flair grabbed him by the sperm sacks, before nailing the figure 4 for the win. Flair then got on the mic and said that was for Eddie, and then started an Eddie chant- nice touch.

Next was Angle-Michaels. Wow! I was priveledged enough to see this in person at WM21, so I was buzzing about this, good pop for Angle, but Michaels pop was HUGE!! He is SO over in the UK, and try as I might to get an Angle chant going, it wasn't happening. There was a 'you screwed Bret' chant by a few people, which Michaels laughed at. Decent enough, but obviously not as good as their previous. Funny when HBK pulled Angles shorts down. Oh, and WHY is Daivari with Angle? WHY?? Like an all american would allign himself with a terrorist type character. Just plain dumb. End came when Angle went to nail Michaels but hit Daivari and then caught Sweet Chin Music. Huge pop for Michaels again. These are 2 of the greats folks and I'm glad I've seen them go at it once, let alone twice.

Main event was a street fight- Triple H vs Cena. Decent pop for Trip, VERY mixed for Cena- yes he has charisma but his wrestling needs a LOT of work. Most of the offense was Trips at the start, he bought the steps in to a good pop, but then Cena hit a drop toe hold and Trip bled. I got a decent 'Cena is gay' chant going at some point. Ref took a bump and then Trip hit the pedigree!! No ref!! Here comes another one, 1...2...NO!! Trip then decked the second ref and went for a chair, Cena ducked, nailed a chair shot and hit the FU for the win!!

I'd like to say that, the amount of heat Trip gets for not putting people over, I have been to 4 WWE events: Trip has lost at all of them. I'm not a fan of the guy, but he deserves a little more credit than he gets for that. I for one hope he takes the belt off Cena (as Angle clearly won't). Cena would then have to step it up in order to chase and get it back. It would be better.

Cena then picked the mic up. BIG heat for this. He then started talking 'real' about this being the toughest week of all the WWE superstars lives, talked about Eddie, saying if he is looking down on this then he would be pleased. Big Eddie chant to end the show. Nice way to end.

Overall, as good as could be expected considering the missing talent (Big Show, Kane, Edge, Trish). Top 3 POPS and HEAT were...

POPS. 1) HBK 2) Flair 3) Shelton

HEAT. 1) Masters 2) Cade and Murdoch 3) Cena

Daivari's character isn't a terrorist. His character is just an Arab that hates America because of the discrimination against Arab Americans.

It still doesn't make sense for someone who hates America for its ignorant prejudices to be teaming with an All-American like Kurt Angle. Maybe they'll explain it on RAW - they didn't really have a chance last week. :-\

Davari doesn't hate America, he hates Americans for the ignorant prejudice. Kurt did explain it two weeks ago so you know, it just went over your head. Do you remember the promo about self-sacrifice just for the people to chant you suck (showing their ignorant prejudice toward him)? Yeah, that speech covered it pretty well.

I think it makes perfect sense for Daivari and Angle to team up, as Destor stated above. Next person to associate terrorism with Daivari will get their head caved in by my verbal baseball bat.

I'll tell you why they are teaming Divari and Angle - because fans keep booing Cena.

And let me get this straight - the fans started booing Cena because he was talking about Eddie?

No, the fans started booing cuz they thought he was going to rap. ZING!
