from Wrestling-edge.com
Thanks to WrestleMag.com for sending these in to us:
Velocity:
- Kid Kash beat Chris Chaos.
- MNM defeated Brian Kendrick & Paul London.
- Sylvan beat Funaki.
- Simon Dean pinned Taylor Phoenix.
Smackdown!:
- Booker T vs. Chris Benoit for the United States Title went to a draw after two referees got involved and each counted a pinfall as both men had their shoulders on the mat. Teddy Long declared the title vacant and that Booker T vs. Benoit was made for Survivor Series as the first in a ‘Best of Seven’ match, with the winner being declared the new US Champion.
- The Dicks beat Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich
- Matt Hardy beat Ken Kennedy via DQ.
- Melina pinned Christy Hemme.
- Juventud beat Nunzio via pinfall to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
- William Regal & Paul Burchill vs. JBL & Rey Mysterio went to a no-contest after HBK, Carlito and Chris Masters invaded Smackdown! Carlito and Masters were sat at ringside before HBK hit the ring and superkicked JBL. Benoit, Animal, Heidenreich and Hardcore Holly hit the ring to make the save for Smackdown!.
- Bobby Lashley pinned Orlando Jordan in what was basically a squash match.
- Teddy Long ordered the entire Smackdown! roster to make their way to ringside ahead of tonight’s main event.
- Batista vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title went to a no contest after a huge brawl broke out between the entire RAW and Smackdown! rosters in the ring and around the ringside area.
A better show than last night's RAW show overall.

Hmmmmmmmm, so much for a new World Champion.

Ummm... another best of seven series. Didn't Booker have one of these with Cena last year too. Dammit, they've recycled a storyline which was already a recycled WCW storyline. How much do they pay these writers?

No Orton as WHC? :'(
Gay.
Good to see the whole buildup between the two rosters is still going nicely though.

Ewwww, 3 no-contest in 1 show. That is stupid.
LOL, the WWE are so shit-headed that they give the title to Nunzio on a non-televised event and then go right back on it at the first tapings. I bet if they never publicized it on WWE.com that they would have just sent The Juice out with the belt.

Am I the only one here shocked that Tista didnt drop the gold?
If his injury is as bad as it sounded originally he must be one gutsy son of a bitch to still be working matches (however bad) and surely it cant be doing his health any good.

Well, assuming that he doesn't take any major bumps, he should be able to stay on TV as the champion.
He can do very little in the SS match, so that will save him from taking major bumps there.
Throw him in a few non-wrestling roles for the next few weeks and he should be fine.

Juvi beats Nunzio to become the new cruiserweight champion? Isn't he already the cruiserweight champ?

No.
Nunzio won it from Juvi when the WWE were in Rome.

the best of 7 deal was stolen from nwa in 1986 with magnum ta and nikita koloff for the us title and used again in wcw with benoit and booker for the tv title

Booker and Cena had a best of 5 series last yr. I am glad that they are doing this because it will be some good matches hopefully. However we all know the series will go to 7.

Recycled or not, any excuse to have seven one on one matches between Chris Benoit and Booker T sounds good to me.

Hopefully it will be as good as their WCW best of seven series.

I wonder now, that if the belt was supposed to go to Eddie last week, or if Batista is refusing to drop it now.

nah it doesnt make sense to have a major title win in the midle of this whole SD vs RAW thing. They're probably saving it for after SS

I'm guessing Benoit's going to win this best of 7 series.

It says Best out of Seven Match, so I think it might be a 5 out of 7 falls match.

I actually know who Chris Chaos and Taylor Phenix are. Little bit surprised to hear they were on Velocity, but I'm glad they both jobbed

Knowing WWE, yeah, it probably will be. And it'll probably be booked by Dusty...

I would love to see a proper best of seven series and see Booker maybe bust out the Harlum Hangover again.

Some of you people actually thought there would be a meaningful title change outside of the US?hahahaha. The only one that was always going to change was the CW title.Sounds like a shit show tbh.Was expecting abit better since Raw was good, and the PPV is on the weekend. Would've been an interesting storyline for SS if Orton did beat Batista though.
As for the best of 7 series, atleast these two can put on good matches, but the first 6 are going to be pointless....

My guess is Benoit gets it back 4-3.

At the tapings, Teddy said it would be a Best of Seven series, with the first match taking place at Survior Series.
Remember that time Booker T and Benoit had a Best of 7 Series for the TV title in WCW?
Gotta love recycled angles.
Knowing WWE, yeah, it probably will be. And it'll probably be booked by Dusty...
So Dustin will end up with the U.S. title at the end of the match.

Its not like they are ignoring it, Teddy bases the decision on the fact that the same thing happened in WCW so they are going to settle it the same way.

^ Good point.

Well, that was one wicked double chokeslam through the table he took tonight. I was definitely
Considering it was a double chokeslam that gave him that injury in the first place, I'm surprised he's taken a couple more... and on a car and a table no less! (actually, I missed the start of RAW; did they actually show him getting slammed to RAW, or did they cut to it after the sound of shattered glass?).
Anyway, I expected as the RAW interference, and when they had the entire roster out ringside, you knew RAW would send its entire roster out. I love the way they've built up this RAW vs SD feud. Definitely the best they've done basically ever, and it's been very hott (with the extra 't' ;)).
Wonder if they'll totally forget about it next week or cool it down (ya know... like logic would dictate).

They only gave the title to Nunzio to be nice to him since he is a Full Blooded Italian (they were in Rome, Italy when the title changed.) There is less sense in keeping his title rein a secrete then what they did, ftr.

Yeah, but you'd still think that they'd keep it on him for... ya know... more than a week?

The best of seven has been doen way before that. I'll do some research and get back to ya, but that was no where near the first time.

The best ever was the big brawl after one of the drafts ('03 or '04). All the guys in their Smackdown blue hit the ring followed by all the guys in their Raw red. I stood up and yelled "BLOODS VERSUS CRIPS!" (I was watching it with my bro.)

The WCW one went to eight.
