Chris Jericho makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/112205jericho.jpg
Throughout his WWE career, Chris Jericho was a part of many memorable Survivor Series moments, including the Alliance vs. WWE showdown in 2001 and the first-ever Elimination Chamber Match in 2002. This week, Y2J took a moment to share with WWE.com his thoughts on this year's version of the November classic.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Y2J's Predicition: Melina
"I think Melina will use MNM to somehow become the new champion."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Y2J's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"Bischoff has the martial arts experience, so he should kick Long's butt. Eric knows all about kung fu fighting and will use his karate fever."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Y2J's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"Angle. If Kurt's ever going to win the title, Survivor Series is the time. We all know Daivari is a little weasel, and I expect him to make the difference."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Y2J's Prediction: Triple H
"I would give it to Triple H. He's younger and stronger, and this type of match is perfect for him to be slow and methodical. He will be able to pick his spots, and he'll outlast Flair. I've faced Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match, so I know how tough he can be under those circumstances."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Y2J's Prediction: Team SmackDown
"I think that SmackDown will pull out the victory. "

Koko B. Ware makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/112305koko.jpg
Koko B. Ware has been a part of several Survivor Series events throughout his WWE career. In fact, in 1990, Koko was a part of the match that saw Undertaker make his debut. This week, WWE.com caught up with "The Bird Man" to get his thoughts on this year's version of the November classic.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Koko's Predicition: Trish Stratus
"Trish is hot right now, and I think she's on a roll. She'll take it."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Koko's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"I really think Bischoff will take care of Long. Theodore isn't a wrestler or a even a brawler. Bischoff's been around, and he's been in the ring before, so he has the edge. The fans may not think much of him, but he's dangerous."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Koko's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"I think Kurt's going to win. Daivari throws a curveball in there, and that'll be the difference. They're both fantastic wrestlers, but I think Kurt will take it. The fans will get a great match no matter what, and I wish I was in either of their shoes right now."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Koko's Prediction: Triple H
"I think Triple H will take it. Ric Flair's a horse, but I don't think he can win. I look at it this way: even if a horse like Flair has been running races for a long time, eventually a younger, better horse like Triple H is going to come along. The old horse may still win a few, like Flair did at Taboo Tuesday, but that younger horse is eventually going to send the older one out to pasture. Flair may come back and demolish Triple H, you never can tell, but I think the younger horse is going to win this race."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Koko's Prediction: Team RAW
"I have to go with Shawn Michaels and Team RAW. He's a legend, but man, he can still go. Batista's got a bright future ahead of him, Orton's got a bright future as well, but potential won't win this match. Michaels has been there and done that, and will lead his team to victory."

Howard Finkel makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/112205fink.jpg
With his WWE career spanning over 20 years, Howard Finkel has seen his share of Survivor Series moments, and introduced some of the greatest Survivor Series matches ever. This week, WWE.com caught up with "The Fink" to get his thoughts on this year's version of the November classic.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Howard's Predicition: Melina
"I'm going to pick Melina, and this may be an upset. These two have never wrestled each other, so they don't have any past experience there. However, Melina has a lot more to look at in terms of scouting, and that may help her in the long run. How much does Trish have to prepare for Melina? I know she has a score to settle after this past Monday night, but the challenger has everything to gain and nothing to lose, so I think she'll sneak the upset."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Howard's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"I give the edge to Bischoff, based solely on his martial arts expertise. However, if Teddy has studied any Sanford and Son tapes lately and can pick up the Sanford Shuffle, he might have a shot. A little rope-a-dope and dipsy-doo, and Teddy might pull it out, but I think Bischoff has the edge."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Howard's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"On paper, it looks like the odds are certainly stacked against John Cena. Still, the match is won in the ring man against man, and I think now is the time for Angle to step forward. He's been on a roll as of late, especially against Cena, and I think he's going to pull it out."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Howard's Prediction: Triple H
"I have to go with Triple H. One thing I've always admired about these two is that they always give 150 percent. I've always believed that if you get one up on Triple H, he will quickly return the favor. Flair got his satisfaction at Taboo Tuesday, and this is a whole different set of circumstance. Last Man Standing equals stamina, endurance and ability, and I just think that Triple H will win when all is said and done."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Howard's Prediction: Team RAW
"This will be a good one, but I have to give the edge to Team RAW. I like the blend they have, with the two monsters in Kane & Big Show, youth and determination in Carlito and Masters, and the captain (HBK) as the steadying force. Nothing against Team SmackDown, as they have proven themselves as well, but I think the weak link may be Lashley. He earned his spot, but he has to prove that he belongs. This is a new environment for him, and while he has looked very impressive, he's never been in this situation before. If Team RAW can stay cohesive as a unit despite all the past tensions, they may be unstoppable."

"Mean" Gene Okerlund makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 23, 2005

http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/160gene.jpg"Mean" Gene Okerlund has been a part of several Suvivor Series, including some of the huge pay-per-view's most memorable moments. Who will ever forget Okerlund dancing with the Gobbledy Gooker? WWE.com caught up with Okerlund to get his take on this year's Survivor Series matches:

Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Okerlund's prediction: Team SmackDown
"I’ll tell you who I like in this one, I like the team from SmackDown. Let me tell you why: No doubt, you take a look a RAW’s top line with Big Show, Kane, Shawn Michaels, Carlito and Chris Masters, all in their own right individual stars, but on the other end you’ve got a couple of seasoned veterans. JBL has been around this game for a long time; even though he’s rather young in the business, Rey Mysterio is a veteran of this kind of action. Of course, Randy Orton, Batista, Lashley rounding out that SmackDown crowd. I’m going to go with the gang from SmackDown. I’m sure they’re going to win this Sunday."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Okerlund's prediction: Kurt Angle
"Daivari as referee is certainly going to give the slight edge to Kurt Angle, but I’m picking Angle regardless. And I’ve loved this WWE Champion John Cena since the first time I saw him, but I’ll tell you what: It seems like the champion has everything to lose and nothing to gain, whereas the challenger has everything to gain and nothing to lose. I’m picking Kurt Angle."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Okerlund's prediction: Triple H
"Well, that sounds to me like barroom brawl — including the whisky. No, just kidding. Ric Flair is of course a longtime champion in both WCW and WWE, but of course, one of the big names over the past six or eight years has been "The Game," Triple H. In a Last Man Standing Match, well, Ric Flair, whom I talked to this morning, has been in Europe. He’s been touring internationally; he’s a little longer in the tooth, if you will, and for this Sunday night — I hate to go against my old friend, Ric Flair — but I’m going to pick Triple H."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Okerlund's prediction: Theodore Long
"Well, I think you’ve got a pretty good idea of my relationship in the past with Eric Bischoff. We weren’t exactly very dear, close, personal, longtime friends. And, of course, I worked with Teddy Long way, way, way, way back in the old days of WCW. And Teddy Long has certainly had a lot more experience in the ring than Eric Bischoff. I’m sure that Teddy Long would be the crowd favorite in Detroit this Sunday night — and I’m going to go along with the crowd. I’m going to go along with Teddy Long."
Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Okerlund's prediction: Trish Stratus
"Well, if nothing else, the fans are going to be the winners in this one. Women’s Champion Trish Stratus I think brings just too much experience in-ring and out against the challenger Melina. And unlike the match between Cena and Kurt Angle, I think the advantage here is going to be with the current champion. Trish Stratus has wrestled many, many times in front of capacity crowds at Joe Louis Arena, and I’ve talked to her in recent weeks. She knows what she has to do. She's going to have — excuse the expression — a 'leg up' on Melina at Survivor Series."

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/309846/1532210/hacksaw2.jpg"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is a Survivor Series veteran and was in the first five events. In fact, Duggan participated in the first-ever Survivor Series match in 1987 and captained the 4x4's in 1989. Duggan is back in great shape and even helped defend the honor of the WWE Legends at Taboo Tuesday, making Rob Conway and Tyson Tomko retreat.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Hacksaw's Prediction: Trish Stratus
"That will be a favorite, especially with me. When I went to a couple of the RAWs and Taboo Tuesday, Trish really impressed me. The two may be very closely physically matched, I think the fans will be cheering for Trish which will give her the extra something she needs to win the match."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Hacksaw's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"Eric Bischoff might be one of the least popular people in professional wrestling - not only with the fans but with the wrestlers, too. Long does a great job outside the ring. Bischoff has his background in athletics and karate and is also known to pull things out of his hat. I wouldn't be surprised to see others get involved. I'm going to go with Bischoff, but I wish Long the best."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Hacksaw's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"If you have your own hand-picked referee, especially someone like Daivari, that's hard to beat. I know John is a fan-favorite and will have the crowd behind him. They'll probably be chanting USA, and I know better than anyone that gets the blood flowing, so he'll be on top of his game. But it will be tough to take Angle with his own referee."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Hacksaw's Prediction: Ric Flair
"I've wrestled both men. I've wrestled Flair many, many times, even back to the old Mid-South days. I've watched his whole career and have more respect for him than just about anyone in the business. I know what's in his heart, and I think that's what it will take to win this match. Even though Triple H is bigger, stronger and younger, I think what's inside Ric Flair's heart is what will carry the day. I think Ric Flair will be the last man standing."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Hacksaw's Prediction: Team RAW
"My prediction is the RAW team. I captained a team in 1989, the 4x4's, and I know how important it is to have a good team captain. And I think Shawn Michaels is the ultimate team captain. He's been around and paid his dues. I think he can really hold the team together. Plus, the size they have on that team will be hard to beat. And with Batista going through the car - the guy's a gorilla and I've never seen anyone like him - but sometimes you can't make up for injuries."

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/112205heenan.jpg
As a manager, wrestler, and WWE commentator, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has been a part of several Survivor Series. This week, WWE.com caught up with "The Brain" to get his thoughts on this year's version of the November classic. Never one to disappoint an audience, Heenan was more than happy to share his opinion.

Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Heenan's Prediction: Theodore Long
"Teddy Long. He's a man. That's it."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Heenan's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"I'll go with Kurt Angle. Angle's a wrestler, and a damn tough guy on an incredible run. He still hasn't even reached his peak yet. Meanwhile, with all the chains and things he wears around his neck, Cena looks like he's been jacking hubcaps off some old lady's Saturn. He needs to get some tapes and really study Kurt Angle, or else he's going to have to feed his family off of the money he makes from those hubcaps."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Heenan's Prediction: Ric Flair
"Triple H has everything it takes to be the champion: style, charisma, ability, and the body. He's the closest out there to being the next Ric Flair. But I'll tell you what, I've been to 14 countries and 50 states with Ric Flair, and when he goes out to the bars and they make the last call, he's always the Last Man Standing. Period."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Heenan's Prediction: Team SmackDown
"You know, the secret to this match may just be Rey Mysterio. You've got all this big, powerful guys in there, and he's quicker then all of them. You get him in there with Big Show, and he'll drive him crazy. The only way an elephant catches a mouse is with his trunk, and I don't think Rey is slower than a mouse. Of course, I know who Rey really is, he's Howard Finkel's illegitimate child. Anyway, I used to tell my guys that when they were in these matches they should stand back, let the other guys beat each other up, and then get involved once they could do some damage. Rey can do that, so I'm going with Team SmackDown."
Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Heenan's Predicition: Trish Stratus
"Trish Stratus vs. Melina? Sounds like a kidney disease or something. You know, I'm always interested in watching their bodies flying around the ring, sometimes more than the actually wrestling, you know what I mean? I'll say Trish."

Jimmy Hart makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/309846/1532210/jimmy.jpg"The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart has managed dozens of WWE Superstars over the years, including several at the first ever Survivor Series in 1987. This WWE Hall of Famer accompanied the likes of the Honky Tonk Man and the Hart Foundation to the ring at the innaugural event, and he has some opinions on who will walk away victorious from this year's show as well.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Jimmy Hart's Prediction: Trish Stratus
"I'm going to go with Trish Stratus in this one. She's always been one of my favorites. And I've managed a lot of guys from Canada like the Hart Foundation and The Mountie, and she's form Canada, so I have to go with the Canadian"
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Superstar's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"Well, Bischoff knows kung fu, karate and two other Japanese words, so I'm going to go with him in this one."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Superstar's Prediction: John Cena
"I'll go with Cena. At the end of a show I was at in Memphis he gave a speech about me being a legend in Memphis, so I have to go with him."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Superstar's Prediction: Triple H
"I'm going to go with Triple H. Ric Flair is still a legend, and I always say that the past is the future, but Flair won the last match. Triple H will be out for revenge. It would be hard for him to come back from two straight losses."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Superstar's Prediction: Team RAW
"I have to go with RAW. RAW is the flagship. This is Shawn's team, and I love Shawn Micheals. Shawn Michaels is old school and he comes out to my music. RAW has too much to lose."

"Superstar" Billy Graham makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/309846/1532210/superstar.jpg"Superstar" Billy Graham is one of the most colorful personalities in sports-entertainment history and a Hall of Famer. Superstar's career was cut short just prior to the first ever Survivor Series where he was scheduled to compete on Hulk Hogan's team. But if anyone knows what it takes to be an ultimate survivor, it's Superstar Billy Graham.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Superstar's Prediction: Trish Stratus
"Melina seems to be like a wild animal out there, but I think Trish will prevail because of her experience over Melina."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Superstar's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"I'm going to have to go with Eric Bischoff because of his karate background."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Superstar's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"The odds are stacked against John Cena for sure. My personal reaction is Cena can win without Daivari, based on skill. But with Daivari, I think it's almost a given that Kurt Angle will be the winner."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Superstar's Prediction: Triple H
"This is a hard one to call since Ric Flair did defeat Triple H in the Steel Cage Match (at Taboo Tuesday). I'm almost hesitant to make a prediction, but I'll go with Triple H because of his youth and his overall strength. I think that will come into play in this one."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Superstar's Prediction: Team RAW
"Considering the extensive damage to Batista's back after being chokeslammed on a car, I think he will be the weakest link on the SmackDown side, so I'm going to go with RAW in this one."

Mick Foley makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/160mankind.jpgHardcore Legend Mick Foley has tangled with many of this year's Survivor Series participants. And as a three-time WWE Champion, Foley knows what it's like to battle on the big pay-per-view stage with it all on the line. So, WWE.com contacted Foley at his home to get his unique perspective on this year's Survivor Series matches.

Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Foley's prediction: Team RAW
"That’s the brand I’ve been on, and I think the team will function better as a unit."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Foley's prediction: Kurt Angle
"I don’t like Cena’s chances when the deck is stacked as much as it is (because of Daivari)."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Foley's prediction: Triple H
"I think it’s going to be awful tough to beat Triple H twice in matches that he’s a master of."
Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Foley's prediction: Trish Stratus
"I imagine Trish is going to feel like she’s got a score to settle, so I feel sorry for Melina."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Foley's prediction: Eric Bischoff
"You’ve got to respect Bischoff’s martial arts skill, and I don’t think Theodore Long’s gift of gab is going to help him much in this one."

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/112205hammer.jpg
Spending over a decade inside a WWE ring, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine is no stranger to the Survivor Series. In fact, in 1990, "The Hammer" was a teammate of Undertaker, who made his debut that night. This week, WWE.com caught up with "The Hammer" to get his thoughts on this year's version of the November classic.

Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Hammer's Predicition: Trish Stratus
"Trish is the best. I'll go with Trish."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Hammer's Prediction: Eric Bischoff
"You know, as obnoxious as Bischoff is, he's a black belt, so I'm going to have to go with him."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Hammer's Prediction: Kurt Angle
"I like Kurt Angle. I know Cena is everyone's favorite, but to me Angle is the ultimate wrestler. My vote goes to him."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Hammer's Prediction: Triple H
"Flair's my old partner, but I have to go with Triple H. Ric has been around as long as I have and is still in the ring wrestling every night. My hat's off to him, but I think Triple H has him in size and strength, so I'm going with him."
Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Hammer's Prediction: Team RAW
"Oh, wow, this is a hard one. I love Randy Orton, I was great friends with his father Bob. I think I have to go with Team RAW. Big Show and Kane are strong and dominant, and Michaels is so versatile. Plus, with Batista getting hurt going through that car windshield, that's another reason I don't think SmackDown will win."

Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Nowinski's prediction: Team RAW
"I’m a RAW guy until I die, and they’re unstoppable."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Nowinski's prediction: Kurt Angle
"Bringing in Daivari was a Harvard-esque move by Angle."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Nowinski's prediction: Ric Flair
"I just can’t see him staying down."
Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Nowinski's prediction: Melina
"She has too many powerful allies who are willing to do anything to ensure her victory."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Nowinski's prediction: SmackDown GM Theodore Long
"It’ll be my former manager’s night."

'The Miz' makes his Survivor Series picks
Nov. 22, 2005
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/344364/160miz.jpgWWE.com columnist and reality TV standout Mike "The Miz" Mizanin was happy to provide a reality check when it comes to this year's Survivor Series matches:

Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, 5-on-5 Classic Survivor Series Match
Mizanin's prediction: Team RAW
"After what happened on RAW, I can't wait to see the match. I just think it’s going to be a blast to watch. If I have to pick, though, I’ll say RAW. When you have HBK as you’re captain, you’re going to see a win — especially with Batista’s back messed up."
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Mizanin's prediction: Kurt Angle
"I want to say Cena, but I think it’s going to be Angle because of Daivari. That’s the one thing that sways me. I don’t understand how Daivari’s allowed to be in there — or when he became a referee — but it’s definitely going to help Angle."
Ric Flair vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match
Mizanin's prediction: Ric Flair
"I really think that Ric Flair’s going to come out on top. He’ll find the “Wooooo!” inside him to pull it out."
Trish Stratus vs. Melina for the Women's Championship
Mizanin's prediction: Trish Stratus
"If I were kidnapped and kicked in the head, it would really piss me off. So, I think Trish is going to put a beat-down on Melina. But you never know with Nitro and Mercury there to have Melina’s back."
Eric Bischoff vs. Theodore Long
Mizanin's prediction: Eric Bischoff
"You can’t overlook Eric Bischoff’s karate background, but Theodore Long always has something up his sleeve. Still, I just can’t see Long winning that one. I’ve never seen Long in a match before; I have seen Bischoff, and so he’s the more experienced competitor, and that goes a long way."
